Light Filled Century Old Home Near CSU & Old Town

Sunny main floor of house on Laporte Ave! Only a couple blocks to Little Restaurant and Beaver's Market and just a bit further to City Park and the Poudre River Trail. Close to CSU! The Downtown area is about a mile and a nice walk through historic neighborhoods. Don't forget about the Saturday Farmer's Market which runs March - October!

The 100+ year old house still maintains a lot of original charm and is being lovingly renovated bit by bit. The two bedrooms are set up with comfort in mind and the full bath has everything you need for your stay. A spacious living area provides comfortable seating and a tv for relaxing and enjoying your vacation. An enclosed porch is a nice place to enjoy the cool evenings and a futon/sofa can be used as additional sleeping space during warmer months. The eat in kitchen is stocked for meal preparation and a shared washer/dryer is available for use.

The shard backyard boasts beautiful fruit trees with apples, pears and plums and patio seating for relaxing. Off street parking available.

This is a shared house with a long term tenant in the basement and an upstairs studio space. All have separate, secure entrances. No parties and quiet hours apply. Owner is frequently onsite or available at a moment's notice for anything but will always respect your privacy and space.

It’s just as described with amenities, size, location and the place was so clean and so homey. We had four adults staying and we were all impressed. Great Wi-Fi and reasonable walking distance to old downtown. The communication with owners was great. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Just what we were looking for

The word lovely keeps coming to mind. I just loved it. It has so much charm and is very comfortable to stay. It is an old home with lots of character, while still having lots of closet space and room to stretch out. It is so nicely decorated and the furniture is comfy. It will be our go-to place when visiting Fort Collins.The hosts were great!

Perfect Cozy Cottage

I needed a home base while visiting my son in Fort Collins. This cottage was perfect! Super clean, great location, and stocked with all the necessities without being cluttered. I was able to cook, relax, and find lots of great things to do in the area. We had a wonderful weekend. Shannon was a great host and so kind, offering help if I needed a thing. This will definitely be a place I rent again.

Great location and cute, clean house.

We were a threee generation group for Family Weekend at Colorado State University. The house was a 5 minute drive from campus and from the Old Town Fort Collins area. The owner was very accommodating and communicative. The home was well-equipped with all the basics and some extras including herbal tea and granola bars. The bath towels were very fluffy! This place is a great option for up to four people to be centrally located in Fort Collins. I hope it is available next time we visit.

We had a wonderful stay. Rooms were good size and were comfortable. Loved the sunroom! The neighborhood is so pretty and was walking distance to the city park which allowed us to walk to the fireworks display. Very enjoyable stay!

Wonderful Home away from home for our stay in Fort Collins. The house is just as shown in the listing. Very clean and well appointed, it had every amenity needed for our stay. The kitchen was well outfitted, there was a little basket of treats and coffee supplies. The mattresses were very comfortable and linens were great. Fantastic having laundry on site. everything is in great condition and well maintained. The location was terrific, easy access to old town and CSU. Shannon is pleasant and quick to coomunicate, she checked in during our stay to make sure all was well and we had all we needed. Great binder with info on house and amenities. Highly recommended, would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you Shannon for making our group feel right at home!

Perfect weekend getaway!

This lovely two-bedroom home in old town Ft Collins met our needs perfectly. Clean, well decorated accommodations with a back patio that suited us well for morning coffee and conversation. What a truly wonderful experience for the first time using/booking/staying using Vrbo! Traveled from Pa to visit a few days with daughter at Colorado State. The ease of viewing & booking our rental with Vrbo was top notch! The home was adequately reprented online, was extremely clean and our host, Shannon, was in constant communication via email with me during our entire stay, in case there was anything needed. Check in/out instructions were provided 24 hrs prior to arrival/departure. Rates were extremely comparable & staying in a rented home vs a hotel was a much more enjoyable experience overall! All appliances in working order & host installed new AC unit due to excessive heat in the area prior to our stay. Hubby & I couldnt have asked for a more positive experience and we will definitely be back! Thanks again!!!
