About this property

The Outdoor Oasis Pool with No Heat/Fire Pit/Ponds

Come relax and enjoy the outdoors at this peaceful country escape on 3 acres! Around the property you will find, an in-ground pool surrounded by an extensive deck, two ponds stocked with bass, catfish, and perch for catch and release fishing, a covered outdoor eating space, and a large outdoor fire pit.

The inside of the home features 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, with a bonus room that includes a sleeper sofa. The main bedroom has a king bed that sleeps 2, and has an attached full bath. The middle bedroom has a double bed which sleeps 2. The bonus room has a double sleeper sofa for 2 more guests. The second bathroom is located in the hall.

Guests will have access to all amenities listed above. The garage and storage buildings are used for storage.

The pool is serviced up to 2 times per week. You may see the pool company or the property owner on-site cleaning the pool.

Outside cameras are currently turned off.

The house is located in a rural area that is centrally located to Austin, Lockhart, and Bastrop. The house is 22 miles from Austin Bergstrom Airport, 30 miles from downtown Austin, 15 miles from downtown Lockhart, 20 miles from downtown Bastrop, and 13 miles from COTA.

The house was clean, the pool refreshing on hot Texas days and my husband was very excite that there was a catch and release pond with a very nice pier so he could fish. Even though he didn’t catch anything, it was a good way to unwind. A friendly duck and turtles kept him company. I really loved that there was a fenced in courtyard for my dog. Lovely home and the owners were extremely kind and accommodating.

Fun little getaway

Our boys loved the pool and the host was SUPER communicative and easy to get in touch with. You for sure will catch fish in the stocked pond. Would recommend! We also had some great meals in Bastrop during our stay.

Great getaway and value

We loved our stay. We were in town for a race at COTA and being able to stay here was perfect. There is a grocery store 5 minutes from the house, the property was very quite and the hot tub was a nice treat to soak our tired legs from lots of walking. Oh and it was so fun to have the cuckoo clock!

Great Lil Spot

We stayed during 2023 MotoGP and wanted something remote outside of Austin. This place checked those boxes and then some. We loved the tranquility and enjoyed seeing our new friends (ducks on property) daily. We would definitely rebook at this location. Thank you to great hosts.

Nice little getaway

The property was very much what we were looking for. The pool was nice and clean. The wildlife was enjoyable to watch. The house was overall in good condition. Some issues getting a few of the doors to close properly but nothing we couldn’t deal with. Overall the home was nice and offered plenty of amenities. The night sky was pretty nice out there. We even saw a couple of shooting stars in the early morning hours. We would be more than happy to rent again. And to the owner…I forgot to pick up my dogs poop. I didn't even think about it until I got home. I am really sorry about that. I feel pretty badly about it. Thank you for sharing your home with us

We had the most wonderful time here! We were looking for somewhere to get away and unplug from the world and Jeff's place delivered. The house was lovely, clean, and provided everything we needed! The pool was awesome and provided endless hours of fun, especially with the toypedo and (massive) unicorn! The pups loved keeping watch out the low windows and barking at the ducks, guineas, and squirrels that passed by. Jeff was communicative and checked in on us to make sure everything was going okay, which was very much appreciated. All in all we had a wonderful time here and would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Bed in master BR was the most comfortable we've ever slept in. There were plenty of towels, also nice and clean. Deck not as shown in pics and needs much TLC as do other aspects of the home. We enjoyed the pool, grandkids loved the huge couch & recliners.

Family getaway

The house was very nicely decorated.The beds were very comfortabl.Great washer/dryer.Everything you needed to prepare and cook was there.The TV didn’t have any live shows.(all apps). The pool was spectacular! The grounds were very well groomed! Got to catch a few fish.My daughter came from Bastrop with her kids and they all enjoyed all to offer! Had a great time (hot)!

Perfect getaway

My family had a wonderful time at this property. We enjoyed swimming daily and all of the nature that surrounded us. Host was wonderful and got back to us promptly when we had questions. We plan to make this a yearly family trip!
