The house was very close to many places we came to visit. House was very clean but missing essentials like toilet paper, hand towels in bathroom and serving bowls. I was disappointed to find there was multi-levels from room to room. It was very dangerous for my husband in a wheel chair.

A Christmas trip to visit the National Parks and the house was conveniently located to both plus an easy trip to the Keys. Clean, comfortable with a nice back patio and yard for the 5 of us to spread out. Kitchen is adequate although we could have used a couple more pots and items since we tend to cook in rather than eat out. The beds are firm so side sleepers take note. Neighborhood was quiet except for some wake-up calls from the neighbor chickens

Great rental near the Everglades National Park

Beautifully designed home near the Everglades National Park entrance. My family and I enjoyed the architectural details and the big, fenced in yard. Great location to enjoy Homestead or drive up to Miami or down to the keys.

One of the best VRBO’s we’ve stayed at. The owner was readily available, instructions for the property were very detailed, and the house had every single amenity we needed. Very fun property. Farm animals in the back, beautiful outdoor dining area. Interesting architecture. We stayed here because it was close to Biscayne, the keys and Everglades and it worked perfectly. It’s about as close to the keys as you can get, but it is still an hour away. Much closer to Everglades and Biscayne.

Why they chose this property

The "Farmhouse by the Florida Keys" is special to our family. We recently purchased this house so that our children can explore the outdoors freely. Our kids play safely all day outside as our family and friends gather. We wanted a place to relax and disconnect from everyday worries all while being centrally located to great places to visit. (Everglades National Park, Florida Keys, Marinas, Farms, Sanctuaries, etc.) Take a quick day trip to the Florida Keys for beaches, seafood, boating and come back with just a 30-40 min drive back home. The neighborhood has great restaurants and farms to visit all while still being 30 mins to Miami and 40 mins to the airport.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with the open outdoor space and the opportunity this property brings in the future for our family. We plan on planting more fruit trees and having farm animals for our children and guests to enjoy. It just feels great being at this house, the soft tones and airy feel with plenty of natural light inside makes you feel relaxed upon arrival. The place is very spacious and you will feel free.
