Summer Escape!! Came here for a summer Red Rocks concert and week-long explore, and relax. The location was perfect for our "in the mountains, but not IN the mountains. 15 minutes to Red Rocks. Hot tub under the stars after the concert was the cherry. Or maybe it was the view from the top deck, drinking coffee with the Elk? The basement is coolest in the summer, but the windows open and fans provided, was cool enough to put me fast asleep. Quick exploring to many hikes, and close to popular sites. Very beautiful private property, very clean and comfortable for 4 adults and 2 kids. I will most definitely stay here every time I come to Denver. Just so much to explore...
Absolutely fantastic stay. Host was very wonderful and patient with all communication. The space was beautiful and roomy and exactly as described. If I ever bring a group to Denver again, I would consider returning.
Everything at the property was true to the listing. The location and property itself are excellent and I could not recommend any improvements. For our needs it was truly perfect.
We couldn't be more pleased with our decision to book this lovely home for a long family weekend. We came to CO to take the kids to a show at Red Rocks, and this location gave us everything we wanted -- plenty of space for 4 adults to really stretch out in a beautiful, quiet, comfortable home; easy access to the concert venue, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the lovely town of Golden; and a worry-free experience. Communication with the host before and during our stay was a breeze, Karen was responsive and helpful. When I was concerned that the house didn't have AC (we visited in August), she left us fans. Incidentally, my worries were unfounded, the mountain air was beautiful and the house felt fresh and cool every day. As far as the house's condition, it was exactly as pictured and described on VRBO. Neat and cleaned with plenty of kitchen tools, pots/pans etc. The beds and the bed linens are extremely comfortable, exactly what we needed to fall into after spending our days hiking and exploring. Water pressure in the showers was very good, The provided bath products were excellent. We only used the hot tub once, and it was very nice.Highly recommended. Thank you Karen for a wonderful home base for our family trip!
Beautiful home! My family and I really enjoyed the comfort and relaxation of this place. Great location as well. We went to Winter park, 1hr away. As well as Echo Mountain, 35 minutes away (ski and snowboarding) Communication was 10/10 from the host, Karen. Highly recommend this place and will definitely return for future trips.
This home was in the perfect location for us as we were going to visit red rocks before heading to Denver for a wedding! Beautiful cozy, clean and spacious home. Very well stocked with all the essentials and enough supplies to get us through our three night stay!
The property was very clean and well maintained. We loved the surroundings as well - tall trees all around and no close neighbors. It’s convenient to many of the historic mining towns and ski areas. Our host was very accessible and accommodating.
We had a wonderful time staying at the Evergreen cabin home. It was beautiful inside and out very much like the pictures. We will consider staying here again on our next trip to CO.
