Wonderful Downtown Cottage - Big Backyard - Pet Friendly!

Cute downtown cottage with large, shady backyard, and just 1-3 blocks away from some of the best restaurants, antique shops, wine bar, and yoga studio in the city.

Just 8 blocks (about a 15-minute walk) to the Riverwalk!

Enjoy the large backyard, lounging about under the towering oak trees in Adirondack chairs. Close to all the best Wilmington offers.

Pet friendly (dogs only)

The space
The cottage is a single-story ADU behind a fully remodeled American Foursquare home originally built in 1897.

The cottage has its own entrance, kitchen and bath, with a nice size living room. The sleeping room is just off the living room and features a queen bed with a plush pillowtop mattress. There also is a desk in a corner of the living room for those who may need to work remotely. Fast internet is powered by AT&T fiber, with speed up to 1 GB per second. Independent testing by AirBnB verified upload and download speeds were 450+ GB per second.

Off-street parking is available, but on-street parking is rarely an issue, since St. Luke's Church takes up the block across the street. Off-street parking is shared between guests in the main house and guests in the cottage.

The serene backyard is large for a downtown home and is shaded by towering oaks throughout most of the day

Robert Strange Park, the largest park in downtown Wilmington, is a half-block away, with a public swimming pool, one baseball and 2 softball fields, basketball courts, in addition to 6 tennis/pickleball courts. Public swimming pool, operated by YMCA, is just two blocks away. Admission is just $1 kids, $3 adults, open only in the summer season.

Guest access
Guests will enjoy full access to the cottage and the backyard. Access to the cottage will be provided through a digital smart lock, and a unique code will be assigned to the guest before check in.

Other things to note
We have four Ring outdoor cameras installed on the exterior of the house. Three are Ring doorbells (one at each entrance), and one is a Ring camera/floodlight positioned above the driveway.

Jeff's place was perfect for my stay! It had everything I could have needed and more. The location was great; having several food options within a few blocks, but also being only about a 20 minute walk to the heart of downtown. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Quaint Back Cottage

Our stay in Wilmington was great. The small cottage was as described and clean upon our arrival. Several restaurants within easy walking distance with downtown Wilmington only a slight further walk. In fact, we didn't drive once at the unit.
