Stone Home Kotor - 4 bedroom beachfront house!

Stone Home Kotor is a family owned house located in Dobrota, the heart of Kotor. Our location is something we are proud of, as we are close to the city center, shops, bars and restaurants. But in the same time we are in quiet neighbourhood, with a lovely swimming spot just in front of the property. Access to sea is excellent, with old stone stairs to come and get out of the water. Nearby there are small beaches ideal for families with small children. We are dedicated to provide privacy to our guests, but at the same time we like to mention that we are available 24/7 for any request our guests may have.

Lovely

We had a wonderful stay in Kotor at this property. It is perfectly situated on the bay to enjoy lovely swims in the ocean, a 5-minute walk to groceries, and a short distance to old town. A lovely stone home that helps you soak in Montenegro in the heart of its culture. Some highlights of our trip was exploring old town, hours of swimming, going on the cable car to enjoy the mountains surrounding the bay, and a boat ride by the hosts brother to points of interest along the bay!

Great location and host!

The house is in a great location in the Bay of Kotor. 20 minute walk to Town and close to many restaurants and activities. There is a great restaurant with live music just steps from the house called Moments. The house is well appointed and very comfortable. Host’s brother took good care of us and he runs boat tours so he can take you out to the blue cave, etc. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Vacation!

Beautiful house in a fantastic location! We loved the neighborhood feel of the area, which was quieter and not filled with the cruise ship tourists, and being able to walk right out our front door and go into the water. It's an easy, scenic 15-20 minute walk along the water into the city walls of Kotor. Plenty of places to eat nearby even if you don't want to walk into the Old Town, and also a grocery store in close walking distance. Darko is a fantastic host, he met us when we arrived, made sure we had the parking spot we needed, and reached out during our stay to answer any questions. He also made sure to let us know when the markets were going to be closed due to a holiday during our stay, which is not something we would have known on our own. Highly recommend, we would definitely stay here again!

Great getaway

This house is well situated on the water just a short walk away from the Kotor city centre. We parked our car in front of the house and did not need to deal with the traffic and parking challenges in Kotor. We could enjoy the quiet residential neighborhood, and then walk 15 minutes to be in the heart of Kotor's old city. The house was well-equipped and suitable for our group of 4 friends. Two of the four bedrooms are large and have big windows with great views of the water, while the other two bedrooms are small, less desirable, and the views are not so good. The living and kitchen area is quite small and though in most cases we would prefer a larger space, the outside enclosed patio with plenty of seating made up for it. Furthermore, just outside the enclosed patio, there were places to sit right on the water to enjoy the incredible view. The host was very accommodating and helpful, and he met us upon arrival even though we were running quite late. We considered staying right in the centre of Kotor, but we are very glad we chose this house and we would choose it again for a future visit.

Mooie natuur met een woning op een prachtige locatie

De gastvrijheid stond hoog in het vaandel. Verhuurder deed er alles aan om het goed te hebben. De woonruimte beneden is relatief klein maar daartegenover zijn de slaapkamers lekker royaal. Woning staat onderaan tegen de baai van Kotor aan en dat geeft een geweldige Panorama. Tevens is het op loopafstand van centrum van Kotor en ‘de pier’ van Dokota/Kotor. Een aangename verrassing en een leuke ontdekking.
