Villa Dracena is a traditional Istrian stone house with a nice pool, outdoor kitchen and a large green area, terrace for great vacation. For those who want a quiet and relaxing vacation, far from the city, hectic and noisy.
In the small town of Barići, where the villa is located, there are numerous beautiful meadows, grain fields and forests. The area is known for its famous truffles, wine (Teran and Malvasia) and many other delicacies.
Villa Dracena is located in the heart of Istria, in the most beautiful part of the largest Croatian peninsula. It is 12 km (7.5 miles) from the sea (Poreč) and nearby is small Istrian town Visnjan (3 km ~ 1.8 miles) as well as 3 km from the highway exit (the Istrian Y) Kopar-Pula.
The Višnjan observatory is very close to the village of Barici. The observatory has a 407 mm mirror telescope that was used to discover more than a hundred asteroids. In this part of Istria it is possible to enjoy the beautiful, clean and quiet surroundings as well as the exquisite Istrian food and drinks in the many taverns and restaurants.
The Villa Dracena is a fully air-conditioned stone villa built in traditional style and exudes the typical Mediterranean charm with its green shutters.
A beautiful green garden with a pool with counter-current system and an inviting covered terrace with lounge furniture make the property perfect. The villa also has a rustic outdoor kitchen with grill and covered dining area where you can prepare your favorite dishes and enjoy a cool glass of wine from the surrounding vineyards.
A special feature is the second separate entrance of the house to the upper floor. This allows guests enough privacy and makes the villa the ideal accommodation for a relaxing family holiday.
On the ground floor with its spacious terrace you have your space right by the pool. A cozy living room with dining area and open fireplace await guests and invite you to linger. A large flat screen and WiFi offer entertainment and variety for everyone.
A friendly bedroom and a guest toilet with shower are available on the ground floor.
On the first floor there are three more beautiful bright bedrooms, two of which have a double bed and the other a double bed and a single bed. Two bathrooms with shower and corner bath complete the house.

Wunderschöne Villa abseits vom Trubel

Die Villa liegt etwas ab vom Trubel, im kleinen Ort Barici. Das Haus liegt zwar relativ nah an der Straße, was aber überhaupt nicht störend war. Die Villa selbst war sauber und befand sich in gutem Zustand. Alles was verbaut war, funktionierte auch. Die Ausstattung war super und alles was man für die tägliche Nutzung brauchte, war vorhanden. Ebenfalls positiv zu erwähnen, war der "Hausmeister" Heinz. Er war sehr nett und freundlich und stand immer für den ein, oder anderen Rat zur Verfügung. Wir bedanken uns für den schönen Urlaub und kommen sicher wieder ...

Schönes Haus

Unsere 10 Tage würde ich jederzeit gerne wieder in diesem Haus verbringen. Es gab keine Probleme und das Objekt war genau so, wie es im Inserat beschrieben wird. Vielen herzlichen Dank für diese schöne Unterkunft.

Sehr schönens Haus

Leider hatten wir im Vorfeld keine Kontaktdaten Vorort bekommen. Aber nach freundlicher Unterstützung der Nachbarn haben wir dann doch noch Katarina gefunden. Um so mehr waren wir beim betreten des Hauses überrascht. Alle Zimmer sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und großzügig ausgestattet. Das gleiche gilt auch für den Außenbereich. Für uns war die Aufteilung der Zimmer (8 Personen von 8 Monaten bis 88 Jahren) ideal. Das Haus steht irgendwo im nirgendwo. Nächster Bäcker ca. 5 km, Porec ca. 15 km. Wir haben den Aufethalt sehr genossen und können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.
