Exceptional

One of the best vacation homes I’ve ever stayed at. Spacious, clean and comfortable home, well-stocked and on a beautiful property. Pool was too cold for us to fully enjoy in late May/early June but otherwise our stay was perfect. Hosts were great and we would absolutely stay here again if our travels bring us back to the area.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit allem Komfort

Wir haben in Villa Nina zwei sehr schöne Ferienwochen verbracht. Es war alles genau wie auf den Fotos, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt!Alles sehr gepflegt und sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders die Privatheit des Hauses mit dem riesigen Grundstück hat uns gut gefallen. Die Kinder konnten herumtoben und haben niemanden gestört. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener und erholsamer Urlaub!

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Wir wohnten für 11 Tage in der Villa Nina, mit 6 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern. Das Haus und die gesamte Anlage (inkl. Pool) waren wunderschön und sehr gepflegt, insbesondere auch der Garten. Das Haus und die Küche sind perfekt ausgestattet, es stehen diverse Freizeitgeräte (Fahrräder, Tischtennisplatte, Spielsachen etc.) zur freien Verfügung. Der Vermieter war jederzeit erreichbar und sehr engagiert. Es war ein toller Urlaub, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Staying at wonderful villa Nina!

Villa Nina met our expectations completely! What a wonderful place with a lot of space, a beautiful park and a pool. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The owner provided an excellent service. We recommend this property to everybody looking for a peaceful and quite place to stay in a tasteful surrounding. Another advantage: Access to the sea, a small shop and a few restaurants is within walking distance.

Stunning, lovely and exquisite.

We just left Villa Nina and can only say wonderful things. The villa itself is stunning--photos are accurate, if anything, the property is even more beautiful in person. The owners were beyond attentive. They helped us with reservations, excursions and even found us our favorite wine when we could not! Massages on the property were relaxing and luxurious. The location is a quiet village in Istria, right next to the coast. We spent many evenings walking along the sea-side and taking in the breathtaking sunset, before enjoying one of the many delicious restaurants close by. I highly recommend the Banistra Villas--either Nina or Ana--if you can find either available, I would not hesitate to book! A wonderful holiday awaits. We were a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 children--- the property works well for families and adults alike.

Honestly, I expected great service because all the reviews we had read were great. But, it was more than that. Luxurious, cosy, comfortable and it felt like home. Owners are very cooperative, you can ask them whatever-whenever, friendly...the beach is close, but if you've got kids, the pool rules! All in all, fantastic experience I would like to repeat:-)

Excellent house, really friendly people!

We just want to say thank you for a fantastic holiday. The House is excellent, and had everything that we needed. We loved the garden, the herbs, the pool, the playground and everything. the service was really great. We've been getting so much help the whole week! Driving us to the shoppingmarket, The vine tasting, a visit to a small farm, olive oil tasting, cheese tasting etc. Danijel, the taxi driver, was really helpful AS well! We really wish to come back some day.

Super Villa und sehr gepflegt

Fantastic Villa

What an absolutely beautiful villa. This was a family holiday for 10 with the age ranging from 1 to 75 years. The villa grounds were very well maintained with lots of open space for the children to run about in, as well as things like swings and slide, badminton net, table tennis table, etc. Just outside the villa is the pool which is a good size and a seating area with a bbq and a large table for dining - we ate most of our meals here. There is also an annex with sun bed, sauna, toilet and shower and draws full of more things for the kids. The children were able to use this toilet and shower without running in and out of the villa with wet things on. Inside the villa was immaculate too. Plenty of room, very clean and well furnished. Well equipped kitchen, En-suite in every room, air conditioning, wi fi for the teenagers. 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs which worked really well for us as the 1 year old was in the room downstairs and didn't disturb the teenagers with midnight feeds and early mornings! Nikolina, the owner, was an absolute star. From the moment we decided to book the villa she made everything so easy for us. She arranged for transport from the airport (the lovely Darios), when we arrived slightly frazzled and hungry, she immediately booked us a table at the nearby Belveder restaurant with fabulous food and views over the bay (helped us to relax very quickly). She advised on local restaurants, markets, local attractions. We had villa mobile phone so that we could contact her directly anytime, she booked restaurants for us (our Croatian was useless), arranged a trip to the water park (10mins away and fab). As well lots of little freebies like the family produced apple juice, homemade jam, lavender toiletries, etc. Angie the cleaner turned up every day and was also really friendly and great with kids. The beach (which is rocky not sandy) was just at the bottom of the road, as was the mini supermarket. All in all a great week.

The most beautiful place to stay!!

We rented this place for a week in September and to tell the truth if we could have stayed longer we would! This place is absolutely beautiful! We rented both villas for our family vacations (18 people) and it more than suited our needs. Both villas are very spacious, clean, every bedroom has its own bathroom (huge plus!) and it is very well maintened. Nikolina (the owner) is very helpful in every situation, she was on call 24/7 if we needed anything and Angelka does a great job with cleaning around the villas every morning. The swimming pools are great, we didn't even needed to go to the beach. Best vacation for us and our family!! Thank you!

Villa Nina

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Nina. The house is beautiful and in immaculate condition, situated amongst trees in a broad garden with plenty of space and distance from the next property. It has a great layout with a deck area by the pool, outside fireplace for barbeque and undercover dining area. The location is quiet yet the walk to Karigador village and the sea is only a couple of hundred metres. Nikolina's hospitality and helpfulness was outstanding. No request too hard, and plenty of useful recommendations regarding dining, wine tasting and other activities. Would definitely stay there again.

A child could possibly ever want

We have rented vacation properties elsewhere in the past, and there has always been a disparity between the photos and description and then the actual property. But this was not at all the case here! Villa Nina is in fact even nicer than the pictures suggest because the house is built so intelligently and beautifully that it's a joy to be there. The pool is stunning, super clean, perfectly heated, and placed so that you can look out onto the stunning garden. The patio with a long table for eating outside has a gentle breeze that is a delight. The bedrooms are lovely to look at and even better to sleep in--great mattresses and quiet air-conditioning if you need it (and screened windows if you don't). The downstairs is an open living space beautifully furnished with aesthetic touches throughout. I really cannot praise this property enough. This wonderful atmosphere is reflected in the owners too. The housekeeper, who lives a couple of minutes away, always checked to see if everything is fine and if there was anything she could get for us. One night, we had a storm (which none of us had actually even noticed), and she came over in the morning, decided that too much debris had fallen into the pool, and immediately had the pool cleaners come over to take care of it. As for the location, it's actually an ideal spot to discover Istria. The closest town is five kilometers away--Novigrad, with a lovely beach, great beachside restaurant, and a charming old town. Further down, there are the more famous coastal cities of Porec (do not miss the Basilica) and Rovinj. During our stay, our seven year old announced that Villa Nina had everything a child could possibly ever want. The same goes for adults.

A wonderful week in Istria

We had a really nice time in this charming place. The house is really beautifull and well decorated, the area is quiet and peacefull so we didn't want to leave. There was everything we need and the children were so happy to find some bike and toys. I recomend you that villa to spend a restful time!

Dream vacation

We did not have enought time to plan for the vacation and we had to rely on the agency advice and the web-site to evaluate the villa - and, although we expected some 'reality check' upon arrival, the villa happened to be above our expectations and looked exactly as it had been represented on the page - very clean, modern, spacious and cozy! The owners are great people - they were waiting for us until our late arrival with some snacks and lots of tourist information which helped to turn our 2 weeks in Istria into a fun and relaxing vacations. The pool outside is heated and very clean (services 2X week). The kitchen fully equiped with everything a modern framily needs for cooking. The oak garden is an unusual addition to the house - beautiful and elegantly aranged, we loved our long breakfasts on the terrace looking at the intricate shadows of old oaks and watching the birds play. The house keeper was friendly and quick - helping with shopping, cleaning and advising on local food. Local friut and fish market in Karigador are 10 minutes walk and provide full variety of fresh produce for any taste. San Rocco restaurant and hotel in Brtonigla is a high class dining spot with excellent food and service. Veralda wine makers have excellent wines, their rose was a nice match to our home cooked dinners. Porec is a half hour drive, it is worth going for a walk and visit the Basilica. We also recommend to visit montain towns of Groznjan and Motovun - magnificent vistas, cozy cafes and interesting small galleries. But, quite frankly, villa Nina has everything to turn your vacation into a dream without need to live it! We highly recommend the villa - it would suit young couples or urban families looking for high class vacation in a private environment.

Pokud bychom mohli použít jediné slovo pro popis dojmu z dovolené, jist? to bude slovo: Fenomenální. Úžasné ubytování (v našem p?ípad? 2 rodiny s d?tmi), prostorné, slunné a hezké pokoje. Perfect Holiday

I recommend this property! Location is perfect! Close to town, beach and because villa is surrounded with forest we had privacy when we wanted! Owner delivered us fresh food and fish when we wanted. Cleaning was every third day, beach was very close! We are definitely coming next year!
