Great house and location

Perfect house close to town. Beautiful home, clean, comfortable, a true home away from home. John was the most attentive host. We will definitely stay again.

A great visit to Arkuda Lodge!

This was our first summer visit to Lake George. Arkuda Lodge was clean, organized and had great spaces for family fun. Our week was a humid one and the pool came in handy in the afternoons to swim and cool off. The house itself had everything we needed to spend quality time together including dinners at the large dining table and space for board game sessions and movie nights in the living room. We even roasted marshmallows at the fire pit on our last night. The house is well located too, being just minutes from the village and about 15 minutes to Rogers Park Beach and the cute town shops in Bolton Landing. The owner was easily available for any questions we had and truly wanted our stay to be enjoyable.

Amazing home. Outstanding amenities.

Short and sweet. The home is beautiful with plenty of room for the whole family. Extremely close to town and lake George’s amazing beach. Can’t wait to do it again next year.

Fantastic! Highly Recommend! Will Stay Again!

Arkuda LG was such an awesome place for a family to vacation at. The house was extremely clean, organized and a fantastic layout. The game room was such a hit with my kids, not to mention the pool! So close to the Village, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. Communication with the owner was incredible as well. Extraordinarily hospitable! We can’t wait to return next year!

Great house!

We lived this house! It had everything you could need including a backup generator when we lost power for about an hour! The owner was very attentive, if we had any questions he was only a text away! His partner was also great we needed something and she sent it by Instacart right away! We were not expecting that! We will definitely rent this house again!

The perfect escape

We had a fantastic time! Couldn't be happier with the location and the hosts. I was looking for a place where there was enough to do at the house that my introverts would be engaged, but was close enough to activities that my extroverts would be busy. Everyone was happy, which for this crew is no small feat. The house is amazing and well-furnished. Comfort and relaxation were the goals for my week, and these were met. The kitchen was well equipped and welcoming. The game room was a pleasant surprise (no pics of this one in the listing). The pool was much larger than I expected based on pics. Significantly so, which is why I mention it here. My crew loved it so much that they even went swimming in the rain! The biggest surprise was the natural beauty we saw. The grounds are filled with lots of pollinator-friendly plants and there's a hummingbird feeder right by the front porch. Great butterfly and bird watching. One morning were delighted to see a flock of wild turkeys on the front lawn (our dog barked at them and they scooted away). We were all a little sad when the week was over, and now my kids and their pals are asking about next summer! Thanks to our fabulous hosts!

Unexpected pleasures

This rental property was superb and the experience Fantastic!The property owner, Robert, was a pleasure to deal with and always responsive. The Lake George area has so many opportunities' for any activity.We took several boat rides, one being the 2 1/2 hr ride on the Lac du Sacrament which took us up along the the waters edge from Lake George town to the Narrows so we could view the beautiful Sagamore resort ( a must visit for lunch and/or cocktails). Rental of boats from town is easy. Lake George rentals staff were very helpful and pleasant. If you can't make it to town on Thursday night for the concerts and fireworks over the water, you may still participate by hearing the fireworks from this house.This property is surrounded by woods and very private. We had daily visits from the turkeys and beautiful deer. It is very quiet area with flowers, great firepit, and loads of parking area in the driveway.Saratoga Springs only 45 minute drive.Beautiful grounds so easy to sit enjoy the experience even if you don't like betting.Price Chopper in town to get necessities.The beds are super comfy, towels are new, small appliances still in boxes, all paper products provided.Webber grill on back deck,w/pool and deck for sitting around in quiet respite. This house has it all We have been seasonal rents from VRBO and AIRBNB for over 20 years and this the top of the list by far! Thank you Robert and Calendula properties !

The Arkuda lodge

Family trip to Lake George was an absolute success thanks to our stay at the beautiful Arkuda Lodge!! My family wanted a “Lake life” experience and I personally wanted an “Adirondack” experience. The house is in a wooded area which gave me exactly what I wanted while my family had a minute drive to Lake George Village. The house had everything we could have possibly needed. Kitchen was stacked with appliances for making meals throughout the week. The bedrooms were all on the second level far enough away from the common area that you couldn’t hear anyone who stayed up late. This was important to me as we had our 4 month old with us who had an early bed time. Was a hot week so the pool came in clutch. We spent a lot of time on the massive deck leading to the pool. The game room with Bar, pool table and darts brought entertainment during the evenings. The massive living room with skylights was a great space to wind down after a day at the lake. The accommodations, John left us with a S’mores set and lots of firewood for the fire pit. Had to have been 20 beers and seltzers in the mini fridge in bar area. Can’t speak enough about the central air during this hot week. John was probably the best host I’ve had. Sent me an introductory video before our stay. Also on the video showed us how to use the smart lock on the front door. My family would have definitely screwed this up. Any questions were answered immediately. Would highly recommend the Arkuda Lodge!
