It is an amazing property! My family and I try to take weekend trips around Texas every couple of months. This by far is now one of my favorite spots! House and host were both amazing. Only complaint, (has nothing to do with property or host) There was a celebration the entire weekend 4 houses down and across that did not respect the 10pm quiet time.
House size was perfect for 4 adults and pet. However, I wish there was more comfortable lounge seating. May be a bit out of the way for some, but very quiet, private, and clean.
Back patio is in the shade in the afternoon and that was really nice.
Overall, fantastic stay!
My husband and son went for the wknd, and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Hubby did there was a weird knocking on the walls at night, but no trees to explain. (No branches to hit the walls or roof)
Place was clean, and perfect for the 2 of them. They were able to walk out the back door and throw a line in the canal for fishing.
Also, it was great for the family dog they took with.
Would stay there again.

Thank you to your husband and son for being wonderful guests and for a nice review/feedback. We are very happy that we were able to figure out the sound he heard was the old lifesavers hanging on the front porch. We have since moved and secured them better so there is no more noise from them. We hope to be able to host you again!
