Amazing rental! It was so clean, the hosts were so nice, the view is amazing and the checkout process is so seamless! We were so happy with our stay. Definitely pick this spot for your Rockland adventures!!
Home was very clean and comfortable. The beds were amazing. Great location for short walk to ocean and waterfront. Jin was very nice and accommodating to our needs.
Loved the house! Great space, great location, attentive hosts. Really appreciated the eggs, English muffins, butter, yogurt, coffee and creamer! We weren’t expecting anything at all so having a quick and easy breakfast was awesome. They provided a book that included all kinds of recommendations for dining and activities which was very helpful. There was literally nothing that we found to be lacking!
This property was perfect for a base to explore the coast. We enjoyed Portland, Camden, Bar Harbor and of course Rockland. It was an easy walk to downtown Rockland restaurants and shops. The house was spotless and had a well stocked kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent the house again.Jin and Wayne were perfect hosts.
Fantastic getaway. Steps from the waterfront and easy walk to town. Gracious and very thoughtful hosts! Very clean and well organized home. We had a wonderful stay.Thank youAC
This home is a great place to stay when visiting Rockland and nearby Camden. The home is welcoming and cozy with modern touches. I’m rather picky about beds and showers, and this home has very comfortable beds, and a nice shower. The kitchen is modern, and the hosts provide the essentials like condiments so you aren’t buying an entire bottle of ketchup for a short stay. You can see the harbor from the kitchen window, upstairs bedroom and the front yard. It is a short walk to town from the house which is also nice. The hosts are very helpful, and answer questions about places to visit or dining options very quickly. I’d definitely stay here again.
This is a great find. Perfect location easy walk into downtown and a short drive into Camden, but away from the tourist throngs. Hosts are lovely and very welcoming. Little vases of flowers in the rooms. Very clean, quiet and comfortable house with nice large beds and A/C if you need it. It was perfect for us. We enjoyed walking down the street to the water and sitting in the chairs looking at the boats. Thank you, we hope to be back!
This place genuinely had it all. The house was immaculate, modern, and beautifully appointed — every detail felt thoughtful and well-considered. We especially appreciated how thorough the instructions and personal touches there were for everything in the home; it made settling in effortless and we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. The location was absolutely unbeatable — we honestly couldn't imagine a better spot that is convenient to everything. And the hosts? Incredibly friendly and responsive every step of the way. Any question we had was answered quickly, which made the whole experience stress-free.If you're coming to midcoast Maine, don't hesitate. Book it. We'll be back for sure.
We had a terrific 7 day stay at Salty Cape. Loved the house, view of the harbor, neighborhood, and location. Although we had been to Maine many times (mostly around Bar Harbor), we had never stayed in Rockland, which was really a fun place. Your home was the most immaculate of all the houses we've ever rented. And your guide to the house and local area was excellent and very helpful. Thank you. Most days we packed a picnic lunch and hiked one of the Preserves or just explored the area. We shopped at the Farmer's Market on Thurs., and were able to make some great dinners at home thanks to your well stocked kitchen. All the vegetables from the Farmer's Market were incredibly flavorful. We enjoyed eating 2 wonderful dinners at the Carriage House in Thomaston - beautiful setting, a fun vibe, and delicious salads and pizzas. No matter where we went or what we did each day, the best part of our stay was always coming back to Salty Cape. Thanks for sharing and for taking such good care of it. We look forward to returning one day soon.
The house was immaculate! The host were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful gardens and fresh flowers in the house upon arrival. We will definitely stay there again.
Beautiful, comfortable, warm with all the necessary amenities and added extra touches. Fantastic location, views of the sailboats in the harbor and the outside property grounds were gorgeous!
Couldn’t have asked for more! Great place - comfortable beds, wonderful well-supplied kitchen, nice bathroom with great shower. Landlady was a gem. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The kitchen was great, we loved the nice clean rooms. The beds and pillows were wonderful. It had thoughtful things to make you feel at home. Slippers, eggs and English muffins in the fridge for breakfast. A few different sodas and drinks. We loved our stay.
This is the most attractive and well appointed rental we have ever stayed in. The owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Location is just a short, scenic walk from town.
The property was beautiful, well organized and stocked, and immaculately clean. The host was warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience and will be coming back!
Beautifully appointed cottage with stunning views. Bedding and linens were luxurious, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were thoughtfully stocked and organized. From fresh flowers to treats left in the fridge, no detail went unnoticed.
