But after experiencing the beauty, peace, and natural magic of this 40-acre oak grove, we knew it was something too special to keep to ourselves. What began as a personal dream quickly became a place meant to be shared — a retreat where others could slow down, reconnect, and create meaningful memories.
Hotel California now serves as a seasonal vacation rental, offering a peaceful escape for families and friends. In the summer, we welcome guests who come to enjoy the rivers, explore the Texas Hill Country, and gather for family reunions and group getaways. In the winter, many families choose to spend their Christmas vacation here. While we don’t decorate for the holidays, the natural charm of the home and surrounding oak trees create a warm, cozy, and festive atmosphere all on their own.
