Southern style awaits you at King’s Crown in the St. George Plantation. The magnificent views of the Gulf from the rooftop deck and covered porches are simply stunning. Relax your cares away in the elevated, beachfront six-person hot tub. This is island living at its best. Spend your days soaking up the Florida sun while taking in views of the island’s award-winning sugar sand beaches and turquoise waters. Curl up with a good book and a refreshing beverage and enjoy the Gulf breezes on one of the fabulous decks.

There are lots of options for activities with exclusive property amenities including community swimming pools, tennis courts, fitness center, nature trails, a multi-use path, and access to Bob Sikes Cut.

The exterior of this home offers concrete parking under the home and a private boardwalk to the sandy shore with wonderful built-in benches to take in the views. At the end of the day, enjoy the enclosed outdoor shower. A fish cleaning area and gas grill are provided for your fresh catch.

The first level of this home offers everyone’s sleeping quarters, each with its own TV. The primary bedroom enjoys sweeping Gulf views, a private bathroom with a jetted bathtub, a stereo, and direct access through French doors to the covered deck. The second bedroom enjoys direct access to the north balcony as well as the Gulf deck. The third bedroom is appointed with direct access to the covered deck with amazing views of the sparkling Gulf. Two shared bathrooms with showers are provided on this floor as well as a laundry area with a washer/dryer.

The spacious and open-concept living area spans the entire second level of this home. A large wood-burning fireplace in the living area is perfect in the cooler months and five sets of large sliding doors invite you to the large, furnished and covered deck. A large queen sleeper sofa, TV, and stereo appoint the living room. The dining room seats six at the table which is perfect for meals with family and friends, board games, and puzzles. The well-appointed kitchen features breakfast bar seating for four. Take the center staircase to the rooftop deck and enjoy the most incredible stargazing you could imagine. A DVD player, VCR, DVD, CD, and VHS library are provided for guest entertainment.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Lots of potential but needs work.
Spectacular view and outside decks! House is in desperate need of updates including furniture, paint, and updated bathrooms. Main improvement would be better housekeeping. So much potential!

Beautiful property, excellent views...
...well-stocked kitchen, well-maintained hot tub, comfortable beds, and the added bonus of a game/video closet for the kids. I dropped down one star only because the home is showing some wear and needs a few repairs. The kitchen cabinets could stand a repaint, but that's just a minor observation. However, the other two problems we noticed could potentially be hazardous: several places on the deck-patio railings are either very loose or completely disconnected and certainly wouldn't provide any safety in the event of a fall. And second, during a thunderstorm one night the hatch on the rooftop somehow blew open (loud boom, rain coming down inside). When we climbed the high stairs to investigate, it was very difficult to close the hatch against the wind, and then we couldn't find any mechanism which would secure it. We finally found a kitchen utensil that would fit and secure the latch, but it probably needs to be looked into.

King's Crown in The Plantation
We love this beachfront house and have returned for five years. It's a beautiful house and has two wonderful decks and a hot tub on the beach side to relax with the sound and sight of the waves. Each year we have brought our two dogs Tux and Elsa, who love to go out on the beach at sunrise. In November there are very few others there, so it feels like we have the beach to ourselves. This year was bittersweet, as the price to stay for one week will increase $1,500 more for the same week next year. This is more than double the rent we paid our first year here. As much as we love it, we cannot rationalize paying this outrageous rent for one week. It's truly lovely if you can afford it.
