The house was in a great location, easy walk to the beach and a number of restaurants/bars. The pool is nice for the evening or when feeling lazy and not wanting to walk. The house was clean and as advertised, definitely will book again if we are in South Padre with extended family!

Great location and place to stay

The place is great! Nice kitchen and living area, and plenty of sleeping space. Very easy walk to the beach, laguna, boardwalk, shopping and dining. The pool is a great space to relax. The kitchen has all the essentials. You can walk to Stripes (gas station) for some items and the Blue Marlin grocery store is a short drive. Also the grill on the deck is great for a poolside cookout.

Perfect for our family

Our stay was super relaxing. The house was exactly as described and perfect for our family. The house is less than 5 minute walk to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and the sand castle village close to the marina. Beach chairs, wagons and umbrellas are provided. Also, we loved that there was two dryers to help laundry finish fast.

Great Family home with Private pool.

This Casita is a perfect rental for a multiple small families to stay in depending on the size of your group. There is a sofa sleeper and a large chair that also pulls out as a single bed. I would say it sleeps 12 comfortably. The dining table is large to sit up to 10 and the kitchen is roomy enough. There were plenty of dishes for us to use, extra towels, extra pillows, and a bbq grill. The pool is a decent size and the back yard is very private. The walk to the beach is very easy and I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Home, but a few issues.

We very much enjoyed our stay at South Padre Island. This home is conveniently located close to the beach and the pool was a lovely bonus. That being said, we did have a few issues. The property was more rundown than the pictures seem to show. We had 5 or 6 small issues that we did need to reach out to maintenance for. They were quick to come over and fix most of those issues for us. Very thankful for that. The grass needed to be cut and there was dog poop in the backyard so that wasn't great.

Good House just needs to be cleaned properly.

Overall great Location and a nice vacation home, the only down sides are the back yard fence is falling over, the grass was not cut until later on during the week. The guest restroom was dirty/dusty and when my father was getting out of the shower, he hit head on the comer of towel covert and had to go get a staple so the wound would stop bleeding. (The covert is too close to the shower and is hazardous) . In the kids room the top of both bunks had a bunch of hair on them.

Pros: my overall experience with this place was a five star. Pet friendly, kids enjoyed the pool, the home was spacious and very clean. Would definitely recommend it and would book again.Cons: the wifi didnt work, however, the service response was great. As busy we were enjoying SPI, it didnt really matter to me or my kids. My son not once turned on his VR. I believe it was a spectrum issue not necessarily the home. Awareness: i was charged twice, one charge from Vrbo and SPI (property management). I did not read on the Vrbo page that SPI would do the final payment; therefore, when i received a call for the final confirmation SPI charged me the full amount even though i gave them the confirmation number of the payment i made to Vrbo. I currently have a case open with Vrbo billing to get a refund. Customer Service has been very helpful.

The house was nice and in a good location. The private pool was the perfect size for the family. The house was clean but not spotless clean. We wiped down some chairs and counters that were dirty. My canopy was stolen on Friday. We had someone cutting the grass at 7am and they were the only ones who entered the backyard. I left ice chests, toys and chairs outside and nothing else was taken, just my canopy. The property had the storage room open also and nothing was taken. SPI rentals said they cannot do anything and I would have to file a police report. I call police department and they want me to go in person to file a report. It cannot be done any other way. It ruined the day and we just looked forward to checking out the next morning. Nice little rental but I suggest taking everything inside. Just in case the POS sticky fingers comes back. The property does not have any cameras either. Other than that, rental was Ok.
