Sweet get away

We had a small group for a relaxing weekend away for my nieces sweet 16. They really enjoyed the kayaks and wild life around the property. We all enjoyed the peaceful area and the ability to have safe family and friend time. I will definitely be back for another relaxing getaway.

Quiet solitude

The location was great - the house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Trouble free sheets/towels. Kitchen was well stocked . Lots of shade, great dock and outside seating! Yard was clean cut too! Upstairs furniture looked great but was slightly uncomfortable .

Perfect place to stay while visiting Clemson

My son and I were doing a tour of colleges over spring break and this was such a nice alternative to a hotel. The house is comfortable and clean and in a lovely setting. We enjoyed going out on the lake in the kayaks and sitting on the dock and listening to the birds. We would definitely come again!

Awesome Lake House

The property was exactly as pictured and described! We had a great stay with great views. We did bring a trailer with us and it was a bit too big for the driveway but I messaged the host and they were super quick to respond with options on where we could store our trailer for our stay. I’d definitely visit here again!

Really Nice house

The house is comfortable. The shower is great. The beds are comfortable. The layout was perfect for our group. Being right on the water with a dock and kayaks was super fun. Tv and internet were superb. Proximity to grocery, food, fuel and entertainment is great. A/C was fabulous which was terrific because it was hotter than Hades outside. Lake was good and kayaking was fun. The neighborhood was quiet and that plus the black out curtains assured a great night’s sleep. We didn’t need anything but I had a couple of questions and the response was pretty much immediate. We were allowed to take our dog and she had a blast. The driveway is steep but you get used to it pretty quick. I wish we could have stayed another week.

Convenient location with woods and water

This was more like borrowing a cabin from friends than renting an empty unit. It is well furnished and stocked with necessities. The main floor has a master bedroom, kid's room, great kitchen and flows right out to a lakeview deck. It has a main floor laundry. The wifi was great for working at extra desks or outside. The TVs are huge with many channels provided. The downstairs has another guest bedroom, large couch, refrigerator, and kitchen sink. With a walkout door to the lake, it is like a separate apartment. The water level of Lake Keowee was low in October, so I used one of the kayaks to paddle around the corner to a sandy beach to swim in the warm afternoon sun. Scenic, safe place to kayak. Make sure you feed the catfish at dusk ! Pickleball has many friendly players each morning in beautiful South Cove Park. The location is very close to Seneca's main roads, Publix, Ingles and CVS. It is an easy drive to explore many surrounding small towns. In Seneca, make sure to try Taco Riendo shrimp tacos. We had a perfect Italian meal at Paesano's Italian Restaurant. Everything was spot on. The steep driveway was a challenge for our aging balance, but the young at heart will adapt to this. Once unpacked, this cabin is great. I wish we had a longer stay.

Not a McMansion. A great little lake house, a rare find on Lake Keowee.

My wife and I stayed at this home for a little over a week this spring and it was very pleasant. The home is located in an area known to the locals as City Cove or City Creek Cove and it is actually inside the city limits of Seneca. It and the homes around it were constructed when the lake was new in the early 70s, and they where built as small vacation homes in the style of that era. This home has been recently renovated and is tastefully decorated. The appliances and furniture are modern and comfortable. Note that the coffee maker is a keurig. We brought a regular coffeemaker from home as we like having a pot full . The house is well stocked with TP, paper towels, linens etc.. We only used the master bedroom, the bed and pillows there were comfortable. It is the nicest home on this cove. Most of the homes along this cove belong to folks that use them on weekends, and the neighbors we met were friendly, though there is at least one more house that is regularly rented. (we've stayed there a few years ago). The photos in the add are accurate, though the house is more spacious than what the photos depict. The basement suite would be perfect for a second couple, or teenagers. The deck and patio where very useable and shady. There are two Weber charcoal grills and one large smoker. Wood and charcoal were provided. The dock while smaller than its neighbors, was easy to dock a boat at and should be no problem even for 24' pontoon boats. It was good to swim from as well ( there is a good ladder provided). This cove has a very low amount of boat traffic on it. The lake was about three feet below full pool, and there was roughly six ft. of water at the dock. Even though its close to town, City Cove is quite clean and clear. This cove is actually darker at night and seems more remote than others further up the lake since property across the cove is very steep and there is no development on that side. Seriously, if you're coming home in a boat at night you'll want to have a light. Its great to be this close to town. You do not have to get on a major hwy to go to one of the two nearby grocery stores. The marina and "The World Famous Tiki Hut". is less than a mile away. Trust me, the north end of the lake is wonderful until you run out of something and realize that just going to get a soda is an hour and a half round trip. Finally the host that owns this property is on the ball and communicates well. Again this property is a rare gem on Lake Keowee.

Perfect lake spot

Lovely lake house! Our family of four just loved it! The dock is great. Our dog swam like crazy and we used the kayaks. Totally stocked house with plenty of room for more than 4 people. We would definitely stay here again

Great Family Getaway

This lake house is tucked away on a beautiful lake in a quiet cove. We had fun fishing off the dock, feeding the catfish, swimming and just hanging out. The house is roomy and has all the comforts of home. The marina is right around the corner and rented a pontoon to tour the lake. One of the prettiest lakes I have visited! Shopping, restaurants and plenty to do nearby was also a plus. Loved our mini vacation.

Great weekend!

I don’t think the beds were quite as advertised, but it worked out well for us, anyway. Great location! The driveway was quite steep and that was difficult for my elderly mother. We had two family members who couldn’t make the trip, and they would not have been able to park in the steep driveway. Otherwise, wonderful!!

Casual, Comfortable Lake Stay

We stayed here as a family of 7 and really enjoyed it! We had everything we needed, the kids had the downstairs to themselves, and the location was close to town. Check in was easy, the house was clean, and they left a thorough notebook that answered all our questions and pointed us to some great hikes. We’re looking forward to our next stay here!

Perfect for families

Our son recently moved to Seneca. This was our first trip to visit him. This place was perfect for our family. There was an enough space to spread out and not be crowded. The dock and kayaks were enjoyed by our teen sons. The location was convenient and close to everything. We will definitely be staying here again.

Recommend for a great get a way. Family fun!!

This property is very, very comfortable. The King bed gave us a good nights sleep. The toliets are comfort height, which is a big plus for me. If you need a stay near Clemson, I highly recommend.

Lovely Lake House

We needed a place to stay for our daughter/ granddaughter’s graduation from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) & her birthday the next day. “The Lakefront Home on Keowee!” checked all the boxes. It was close to Clemson, beautifully situated on the lake, well-stocked for a graduation/birthday celebration, comfortable & tastefully decorated. Whatever your needs are……you’ll love it!

Beautiful & serene escape

This looks just like the photos! Warm emerald water, clean & comfortable house, quiet yet close to in-town conveniences. We loved relaxing on the sunny dock, grilling out and watching the sunset by the fire. It was awesome having kayaks readily available to go explore the lake.

Great Spot

Perfect place for our family visit. We brought our 2 Springer Spaniels and they loved running into the water. Good location, close to Publix and Lake Keowee Brewery. We look forward to another trip next year.
