Lovely home with incomparable ocean views

This contemporary beach house on the Grandview surfing beach provided a gorgeous setting for our small family reunion. The waves were mesmerizing and a constant backdrop viewable from nearly every room. The large kitchen was superb and well-equipped a huge center island that became an informal gathering place for our party of two couples. We had difficulty regulating the temperature of the home’s HVAC system, but that was the only imperfection in our otherwise wonderful stay in Encinitas.

Relaxing Babymoon

We had a great stay here on our Babymoon! The rental is very well kept and clean, with everything we needed for a short stay. We enjoyed watching surfers from the giant windows in the unit. Having a dedicated parking space here was also essential, since it appeared to be hard to come by with the beach access nearby. It is more of a surfer beach than a beach you can walk/lounge on though, since it’s rocky. There were a few sandier beaches nearby to go to. Overall, we would recommend!

Amazing property, view and location

Everything exceeded our expectations. The house was even larger and more beautiful than we expected even from the gorgeous photos! The owner communicated very well with us along with having a detailed guest book with everything that we needed to know. He was attentive to our needs with an immediate response. Needless to say - the view was over the top. We HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone.

Oceanfront Dream House

Perfection is the only word to describe this home! I rent on a regular in the area and this is hands down the most beautiful interior and the gorgeous views 24/7 are so good for the soul. Overlooking the ocean where my son surfs was beyond! Thank you so much for all the attention to detail and your excellent communication throughout our time in Leucadia!

Just Gorgeous!

We’ve stayed in homes up and down North County San Diego for the past 10 years, this was hands down our favorite! First, that ocean view was amazing. But the backdrop of the beautifully and tastefully decorated and renovated home was our favorite. No detail was left out. I did miss having a bath tub for a week but that was the only small complaint. The location was perfection and my husband loving being able to surf every morning with the provided wet suits and boards. Thank you for such a beautiful and wonderful family vacation!

The home was built in 1981, and recently updated with beautiful new finishes throughout. to include new furniture, and landscaping. The house has changed hands 5 times and the current owner, bought the house in 2017. The owner lives upstairs. He works as a on call physician, so on occasion the garage may open and close at unusual hours. You have your own dedicated drive way parking, two bedroom beach house with huge deck with stunning views and your own private entry. Beach access is located 15 yards north of the driveway. There is no access to the garage, the north or south side walk ways, or to the upstairs.T he house and area has a lot to offer, you have made a great choice coming to Encinitas and staying at the Grandview Beach House!
