About this property

Private Daniel's Lake Vacation House

Updated ranch style home with attached garage that looks out across Daniel's Lake to the south. This is our first VRBO ever and we are quite enthusiastic to share our favorite lake with you! Daniel's Lake has activity all year. There's families boating, inner tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding, trout fishing, etc, all summer long. Snowmobiling and ice fishing are a must in the winter! It's also home to many loons, arctic turns and eagles.

Our goal is to make this an ultimate Alaska getaway! Year-round there is a hot tub on the deck. For the summer, we offer additional seasonal toys for rent: 4 kayaks and 2 paddle boards. There's beds enough to bring a family or two, but it's also cozy enough for a couple looking for a romantic time.

Please note: Any pets have to stay in the garage, they are not allowed in the house.

House updates: New grey sectional couch in December 2022. New shower in April 2023.

It was SUPER clean☺️. The view of the lake was lovely, we appreciated the use of a washer & dryer, and we had everything we needed for a short stay.

Beautiful Home

This home is amazing!

10 out of 10 recommend, the home is gorgeous with spectacular views and private access to the lake. We enjoyed the water toys as well as the hot tub. This home is a must!

Comfortable and relaxing

The host was very helpful and accommodating. The house was so comfortable and well provisioned. Perfect location as well. We were in Nikiski doing field work and the hot tub was so nice after being out in the cold all day. We plan on staying here again every time we come to Nikiski

Family Friendly Atmosphere

This property was amazing and perfect for our large family of 8. There was plenty of things to do even though it rained every day. Kids played a lot of the board games provided and even got my FIL to teach them some poker slang! The owners were super responsive to any thing we needed and even helped with suggestions on local attractions. The lake view from the hot tub is spectacular and the perfect way to wait for the family to get up every day! I highly recommend this property.
