What a wonderful house for our family lake vacay! We are definitely planning to come back!! All the rooms were comfortable and clean and the bathrooms had everything we needed! Even with the weather not cooperating the kids loved the water trampoline and the cove was fantastic for paddle boarding and kayaking!!

Property is in a quiet neighborhood with pickleball and pool .5m down the road. The house was well stocked and perfect for our crew of 9. We rented a boat and the kids enjoyed the double decker dock and water trampoline! Good communication with owners and the house had nice spacious rooms and a great deck for evening cocktails!

SML Family Vacation 2025

We've vacationed at SML many times throughout the years. It's a beautiful area.The rental house was perfect for our family. The grandkids loved the trampoline & jumping off the dock upper level. It was comfortable and easily fit all 11 of us.We brought our pontoon boat & the quiet cove allowed us to go tubing with the little ones closer to the house.The property manager was easy to communicate with.Driving from NY was well worth the long drive.We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful short stay! There were 10 of us total from two families. Plenty of space for both private and family time. Pleasant place to stay with a lovely view of the lake. It is a peaceful setting with lots to offer. Our November stay and the cold snap that moved in toward the end of our visit did not allow for much outdoor time but we had a few hours of sunshine to enjoy the water view from the deck. There is some level of water view from almost every room in the house in the fall. And the heat worked great when the outdoor temp reached the low 30s with wind chill of 18 degrees! We also enjoyed the dart board and games in the lower level rec area. It is nice to have bathrooms for almost every bedroom and the kitchen was well equipped for making and serving meals for a large family. The host was communicative and quick to answer questions. We brought our pet who also seemed very happy - lots of new places to sniff!!We would happily visit again!!!!!!

Great getaway on the lake

This house was the perfect site for a book club getaway for 6 ladies from Maryland. Everyone had their own bedroom and most had their own bathroom as well. The kitchen was well stocked and eating on the deck was lovely. We took the kayaks out and had a fire in the firepit - all in all, a fabulous time!

It's even better with extended family or friends. We feel blessed that we can do it in our own beautiful place and we hope that you and your family take just as much delight in it as we do!

Why they chose this property

This house and location are perfect. We are sure you'll agree by the end of your stay! It's best of both worlds, located in a cove for privacy and ease when swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding, but just off the main lake so everyone in house or dock can watch you can tubing, skiing or boating! With lots of space to sleep people, games in the basement, a two story dock to jump off of, spacious living room and kitchen areas, and a cozy fire pit outside, this house will make all your lake vacation dreams come true.

What makes this property unique

The neighborhood features a private boat launch so it's super convenient if you want to bring your boat & tie up to our dock. Also in the neighborhood is a pool, tennis, pickle ball and basketball courts. The house has everything to make you feel at home - board games, card table & chips, ping pong, foosball, darts, TV's, outdoor grills, fire pit, paddle boards, kayaks, water toys, and of course, the lake itself - perfect for creating memories with extended family or friends.
