Spy Run Hideaway is the perfect Vacation Getaway. Quiet and secluded, we are nestled away in the Blue Ridge Mountains on 17 acres that provides an ideal place to relax or play. We are a 1/2 mile from the Amazing Blue Ridge Parkway with many Scenic Views, lots hiking trails to explore and sites to see, fishing ponds and trout streams, close to several local vineyards hosting wine tasting tours. Not far from Historic downtown Lexington where you will find quaint little shops, excellent dining, and dancing. Twenty-five miles from Wintergreen Resort where they offer skiing, snowboarding, golf, swimming, beer & wine tasting tours and much more and Twenty-Six miles from the Virginia Horse Center. Lots of fun things to do while relaxing being one with nature.

Weekend Getaway

This was a great cabin for a weekend getaway. The cabin was spacious and clean. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch! It is in a very peaceful location. We will definitely be back!

Quiet get away

The house was clean and well stocked with anything you could need! Hidden off a dirt road, peaceful and quiet was just what we were looking for! We didn’t have cell service, but we connected to the WiFi provided and could text etc. The beds are extremely comfortable! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!! We truly enjoyed our stay.

New Years with the kids

Thanksgiving Break

This was an ideal getaway for a Thanksgiving break. Our group included several teenage boys who enjoyed the house as much as the surrounding area. We had a dog as well who also enjoyed the hikes! We were able to explore the local area and enjoyed using the kitchen to cook. All in all, we had a great break - thank you!

Beautiful

This house and property are beautiful. It is right off the Blue Ridge Parkway and is secluded and private. The owners have provided any and everything you will need, even wood to burn in the fire pit. The house was spotless, very dog friendly, and the owners are awesome and extremely easy to communicate with. There is a huge, beautiful front porch with rocking chairs and a grill. I had a wonderful time and I am looking forward to my next stay here.
