Gulf Tide is a comfortable and soothing space to relax and enjoy your beach vacation. The property includes a beautiful pool with loungers, tables, grills, and a pool house. There is also a lovely gazebo to look out over the lakes. The condo includes many home-like amenities such as a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. There is a king-sized bed in the master, which includes a private bathroom with a tub and shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and direct access to the second bathroom. There is also a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. There is plenty of space to gather together in the living room to watch television or chat when the day is done. The balcony is a favorite gathering place to enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Look out over the protected wetland/lakes area and enjoy the local wildlife and beautiful sunsets. There is a beach cart with chairs, an umbrella, and towels to make beach-going more comfortable and convenient! The complex has a private boardwalk for beach access just across the street.
Romar Lakes is a lower density condominium complex, so you can avoid that uncomfortable crowding. You have all of the convenience of being minutes from the white sands of the beach without the sky-high costs or the commotion of having the world right behind your vacation sanctuary!

Our condo was right across from the beach. It was close to restaurants and shopping. It was very clean, and well equipped with dishes, etc. We would definitely stay here again. The host Julie was very good with communicating with me on what to bring etc before check in

Great stay at the Gulf!

We’ve been coming to the Gulf for over 50 years and this is the cleanest, most well equipped unit we’ve ever stayed in. The owner was very kind and super communicative. Excellent experience and we hope to stay here again next year!

Great location and very nice accommodations!

The unit we stayed in was very nice. It was very clean and had plenty of space. The location was great! Very close to restaurants, the state park and not too far from The Wharf for a concert. The beach is just a short walk across the street. We would definitely stay here again!

We felt at home in this cozy condo. We enjoyed our rainy days playing Monopoly that was available in the condo. It's my daughter's favorite game! The location was great and close to amazing restaurants! We loved our stay!

Best VRBO experience ever!

Everything about this stay was perfect! My wife and I have stayed in about a dozen different VRBO properties along the Gulf Coast over the last five years and this was by far the best. Communication, cleanliness, material condition, and kitchen supplies were all perfect. One MINOR nitpick is that it needs a full-size ironing board. Even so, this will be my go-to property for future vacations! Bravo!

We absolutely loved this condo. We enjoyed the view overlooking the wetland area. The balcony is larger than it looks in the photos. Interior was decorated so cute. There were little details that I haven’t seen in other VRBO’s - we really appreciated how she starts you out with a roll of paper towels, couple garbage bags, toilet paper, pods for the washer, and a few coffee and tea pods. The beach cart was fantastic and she even had beach towels. All the other beach items were great. My only complaint was some of the details in the cleaning were missed. Mainly the kitchen area. Greasy prints left on the microwave. Other than some of the cleaning details I would give this place a 10. Quick walk to the gazebo. The pool was excellent. Easy walk to the beach. We even discovered a great coffee shop inside one of the hotels across the road. Seaside Coffee. Even with the cleaning issues we would definitely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

This property is perfectly situated! It is close enough to the Gulf and beach that you can see glimpses of it from the back balcony and front deck. It is a short walk across at the signaled crosswalk to the Romar Lakes private boardwalk to the beach. You have the benefit of having the beach so close without the premium cost of booking a beachfront property. Instead of having your vacation "backyard" filled with other vacationers, you have the peace of the protected wetlands area that meanders into the Romar Lakes, and the splendid array of wildlife.

What makes this property unique

Romar Lakes has an outdoor pool, a pool house, and a lovely gazebo. You can grill poolside, then take a dip! The lakes are stocked with fish, so you don't have to wait until you get to a pier, dock, or charter to cast out a line. It is a great family environment, and is so close to all that the Orange Beach community has to offer.
