Gulf View - Private Beach - Spectacular Views

“Sea Dunes”- A family-friendly house with an unobstructed Gulf view and 100 yards away from the beach. Our home is located in a subdivision called Cabana Beach and only our families and guests can use the beach. Our home is located on the second row of houses . The open floor plan is centered around a large great room with vaulted ceilings. Fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar is adjacent to a dining area. Living area has a 55 "TV viewing area with Direct TV. You can commune with nature by relaxing on the gulf side wrap around deck for plenty of sun, or sit on the covered deck overlooking the dunes. House has a separate laundry area combined with a half bath underneath. The enclosed outside shower has hot and cold water. Fishing table with large sink also located underneath the house with extra sitting in the shade. If you get the urge to explore, you can move your car from one of the houses’ 2 covered parking spots and take a short drive to the heart of Gulf Shores and local stores and restaurants. Sea Dunes guests can also enjoy a round of golf at the famous Kiva Dunes Golf Course, charter a boat at Fort Morgan Marina, play at the Gulf Shores amusement and water park, visit the nearby Civil War fort, or take a ferry boat ride across the bay to Dauphin Island. This well maintained house is located on Fort Morgan Peninsula.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home in Fort Morgan. Great views and can hear the ocean. Furniture in the living room is also really comfortable. Check in process and communication with the owners was easy and quick.

Great Vacation

My family of four had a great time at the Sea Dunes beach house. We loved the location and easy access to the beautiful beach. Mike and Donna have an awesome place and are wonderful host, would definitely recommend.

Great House/Great Location

You cannot beat the location of this house. The neighborhood is very quiet and it has access to a private beach area just across the street. Waking up every morning and looking out into the Gulf was one of our favorite parts and we cannot wait to go back!

Great place for our family beach trip! Roomy, clean, all the necessities, the extra bathroom and shower were a plus. Short walk to the beach. Love the wrap around porch. The owners were very quick to respond with any questions I had. We will definitely be back! :)

Wonderful stay in a beautiful and well functioning home.

Cannot speak enough about the entire experience. Mike was wonderful and communicative throughout the entire process, even calling during the stay just to check in and recommend some local activities. The house was exactly as promised: beautiful, well stocked and perfect for our family of five. Amazing private beach with quiet evenings on the patios. Looking forward to staying again next summer.

Small house in a great location for a quiet beach vacation

My family of four recently stayed at “The Dunes”. The house is in a great location within a short walk to the beach that allowed for wonderful vacation. The house is in a private development -> hardly any people to share the beach with. The house itself is small, but it was just big enough for a family of four. Though our stay was largely positive, I do want to share a few things that inconvenienced us a bit so that all are aware. The entire house was not as clean as we would have liked when we arrived. The kitchen & living room had crumbs, grease & dust. We spent the first few minutes of our stay wiping down the kitchen. I know a family had just left the morning we arrived, so there may have been a rush to get the house ready. The house is stocked with only the bare minimum (consumable) supplies. There is one roll of TP per bathroom. There was only one small roll of paper towels (some of which was consumed when we cleaned the kitchen on arrival). We could not find any additional trash bags after we filled up the one in the kitchen. We found two randomly placed dishwashing tablets (maybe got lucky there). Plan accordingly. I believe a family any larger than four is going to feel cramped (our opinion). The kitchen is small & not ideal for preparing anything other than a light meal. If you plan to utilize the kitchen, be prepared to supply all condiments, spices, oils, etc. There just isn’t space for much preparation. For the life of us, we could not get the coffee maker to make a good cup of coffee, so be aware if you are particular about your java. We utilized the washer & dryer, & they worked well. The gas grill is small, but it worked as it should. There were 3 beach chairs, an umbrella & some beach toys in the utility room downstairs, but I can’t guarantee they will still be there. The owner, on more than one occasion, told me that there wasn’t room to store those items & would not be in the house. I was a bit disappointed when our family purchased those items prior to our vacation only to find them when we arrived. The Wi-Fi is slow. I mention that in case you are planning to utilize it for work or other purposes. Despite what the website says, the owner’s policy for check-out time is 9:00AM based on a form we received a week before our stay. Overall: If you are a small family considering a quiet beach vacation, I would encourage you to strongly consider this property. Be prepared to supply common consumables.

Easy week on the beach

Brought my family four to the beach for a week and this was a great place to stay! Away from the crowds of Gulf Shores, easy access to a private beach, house had everything we needed to relax for a while.

Second Time Around

This was our second time staying at the SeaDunes and it was as good if not better than the first! The location is our favorite in Fort Morgan and the view is amazing. We love how comfortable and cozy the whole place is and the kitchen is well stocked. Mike is really great with communicating and answering any questions you have. We can’t wait to go back!! Thank y’all for sharing your place with us.

Another Great Stay

This was our fourth time staying at the house. Our kids asked specifically to stay here again. Nice view, great location, friendly hosts, and private beach area that never disappoints. The house has new flooring which was nice. We like the outside shower and updated bathroom in the bottom level. We love the location outside of Gulf Shores, but it’s close enough to go in if the kids need a break from the beach. We went parasailing a short walk down the beach at the Beach Club, played a round of golf in Gulf Shores, and grabbed fresh seafood to cook at the house at the nearby fish market. We highly recommend for families with children of all ages. We will be back again.

Perfect Place

The trip was a truly memorable one. Perfect for for 4 and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Easy walk to beach and peaceful neighborhood! We loved this property. It was so nice to be so close to the beach from our driveway and love that there isn’t a house between this place and the beach to block the view. It was welcoming and like I went to visit family. Very clean and well stocked. Beach was SO not crowded because only this neighborhood was allowed on this part of the beach. And Mike and Donna were wonderful to communicate with and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!!

Piece of Paradise

House was exactly as presented on the site with great open view to Gulf that allowed for hours of balcony dolphin watching ! Private beaches without crowds was big plus and time for some devotional reading. Nice quaint cottage for 2 - 4 people and responsiveness of owners was a plus.

Just Steps Away From Beauty

For a small family, or small group of people this property is perfect. I went with my dad and my boyfriend and it was perfect for us. 2 bedroom, with wrap around porch. The view of the ocean from the front desk was beautiful and loved that our walk was straight out the driveway.

We have enjoyed the house since 1984. Our 2 children, recently graduated from college and were born and raised going to the beach and still love it today.

Why they chose this property

My wife and I have seen beaches all over the world and Gulf Shores is still one of our favorite places. We love the Cabana Beach development on Fort Morgan Peninsula. It's away from the main part of Gulf Shores, but a short drive to all the main attractions.
Very peaceful and secluded from the crowds.

What makes this property unique

The house has great views of the water inside and out. The house is in a private subdivision with a private beach.
