This farmhouse is a gem. Very cozy and charming home with beautiful property to enjoy wildlife. Peaceful and quiet but very convenient for the many adventures in the Black Hills. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking easy. The fenced areas were perfect for the dog and we could sit on the swing while he played in the yard. The hot tub was very nice especially after a day of hiking. We would stay here again.
This stay was memorable and has plenty of character. Best for those planning to use 2 beds. Very dog friendly setup, made it possible to enjoy the national parks without boarding. Small water heater, take short showers. Charming place.
Enjoyed our stay here tremendously. House was well equipped and had everything we needed. Location was perfect, quiet secluded property and a great location to access Custer State Park. Dogs loved having the fenced yard…and so did we. Would definitely stay here again when we come back to the area.
This little farmhouse was such a peaceful, relaxing place to stay. It was absolutely beautiful!! We loved it so much and hopefully can come visit again.
Just what we needed. Perfect place for our stay. Everything was excellent! Bonus- furbabies were welcome and they loved the fenced in yard!
Another bonus is that we got to see turkeys and deer!
We loved our stay at your adorable farm house. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need. We had so much fun watching the wildlife from the hot tub and sitting out on the swing. Such a cozy home away from home. We would definitely book again if we are ever back in the area.
The farmhouse was in a perfect location for our family. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery that was around us every day. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here. Also, the owners provided everything you would need for your stay.
Our family absolutely loved staying at the farmhouse. The property is beautiful and the house is so very sweet. After our days of exploring SD it was nice to relax and enjoy the swing and hot tub while watching the variety of wildlife. Thank you!!!
Farmhouse offered tranquil setting after our daily adventures. Supplied anything you would need for kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Great spot for relaxing in the hot tub while watching deer nightly. We would definitely stay again if we travel to the area!
Our stay was comfortable and house location was perfect and close to many historical sites. Renovated house in excellent condition. Would stay again if we plan to visit location again.
This is a great place to stay for a vacation in the Black Hills. The house was very clean and up to date. We enjoyed the seclusion and having a fenced area for our dogs!
Loved this charming farmhouse. The location was perfect. And the dogs had their very own yard to explore. Very clean and the hosts were wonderful. Will be staying here again.
We had an absolutely amazing stay. The Farmhouses is a perfect location for couples and families looking for that quite seclusion in a country setting. The owners were very accommodating and reached out to us before, during and after our stay to verify that everything was perfect. It was very apparent that the owners take pride in their facility. The Farmhouse was clean, well decorated and had no structural issues. Simply Beautiful. We look forward to our next stay.
Over all we loved the farmhouse. It was in a great location close to Custer and Custer State Park. Also a short drive to all the sites in the area. We enjoyed the views and our pups enjoyed the fenced yard.
The only thing would be directions for the thermostat but we did figure it out.
We would recommend it for a wonderful time in Custer County.
We just loved it!! The home is warm and inviting and we had everything we needed. Absolutely loved the property. We are looking forward to booking for next year!
It is a heavenly place to stay! It was super quiet and very comfortable. There is a fenced area on two sides so it was nice we could let out dog out in the night and not have to worry about him running off. It is very close to Custer to pick up that last minute cooking item. The house sits back from the road far enough we did not hear any traffic. Internet and TV were good. We were able to check in for work and connect accordingly. The kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!
This was the first time we stayed at a Vrbo (or non hotel setting). This farmhouse set a high bar! It was a beautiful quiet setting. The home had everything thing we needed. We felt it was very central to everything we wanted to see and do.
Beautiful home located close to local attractions. Private setting with a beautiful view.
House had everything you needed and was immaculate. Owner has thoughtfully stocked the home and it was very welcoming. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the wildlife visitors. Highly recommend this home.
Gorgeous property. Super cute and neat as a pin farmhouse. Very well furnished. Peaceful. Lots of fun things to do in the area. The Black Hills is a great place to visit and stay a while. Excellent responses from owner.
This VRBO was one of the best we have stayed in overall. Animals everyday. The view was incredible of a grassy meadow with deer twice a day. The atv riding right from the house was everywhere and also lots a short drive away. Custer State park was a few minutes down the road and all other attractions close as well. We were close to town but so private in the forest. Communication was excellent and jacuzzi was a plus. I recommend this house for everyone and we will be back next year. Thank you Carrie and Gregg for making are stay so wonderful.
This entire property was so beautiful....inside and out! It was absolutely spotless from the moment we arrived too. It was fully stocked with everything we needed so we could relax from the minute we arrived. I have never stayed in a rental that truly felt like it was home, but this was definitely it. The Black Hills area is gorgeous and after a day exploring, I could not wait to get back to the house because the view from the porch swing was just as beautiful. If I could pick this property up and place it in every area I want to vacation in the future, I would. Everyone in our party, fur babies included, had the best vacation!
We had a lovely vacation here. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked...measuring cups, cutting boards, baking sheets, a muffin tin! We stay in alot of vrbo rentals or other rentals and this one is I think the best we've been in over the past 2 years. The porch has a nice 4 seat table plus a porch swing and grill. We're hoping the hot tub is working next time. The bathroom was very clean and had plenty of bath towels, wash clothes. We were close enough to town but still out in the country so traffic noise isn't really an issue. There was enough space in the living room for us and at the dining table. We look forward to a return trip next year.
