Great place. One suggestion, install a WiFi router with extended range. Orbi is a great WiFi extender. I use it for my home and it provides WiFi over the entire 1.5 acre property.

The location of this charming cottage cannot be beat. You only have to walk down the driveway, and you are on the beach! All restaurants and shops are a 5-10 minute drive away. We really enjoyed watching the freighters come in to port. We loved stargazing on the upper deck attached to the primary, and having breakfast out of the sun on the lower deck. I only gave 4 stars because the house needs some maintenance. Overall, we would stay here again.

This property was in horrible condition! The shower curtain in the guest bathroom was so disgusting we all used the master shower. AC filter had not been changed in four months and was filled with enough pet hair to make two full length fur coats! Grease and grime coated kitchen light. Back door would not open or close and we ended up taking time out of our vacation to make a trip to the hardware store and paying for material to fix it ourselves after maintenance person tried and only made it worse. Pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen utensils were not clean. The carpet is stained and gross. There were plenty of soup spoons but only two regular spoons. There were no directions on how to get into the property so we spent valuable time attempting to find the entrance when instructions should have been included! The construction workers next door dropped the F bomb continuously so sitting outside and listening to the sound of the waves was very unpleasant. The owners of this property should fire the management company. This property was the only one out of the many I’ve rented through VRBO that was terrible.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. I am very sorry for the condition of the property and the many issues you experienced, from cleanliness and maintenance problems to unclear arrival instructions and noise. This is far below the standard that should be provided, and your comments will be used to address housekeeping, maintenance, and communication with the management team. Your notes about specific items, like the AC filter, kitchenware, and door repair, are especially helpful for making targeted improvements. We appreciate you letting us know so these problems can be corrected.

Delightful seaside home

We all love the sea themed interior décor. It could use some new double doors. We tried to leave it cleaner than we found it. Super fun! Wish we could buy it! Thanks for sharing this home with us!

Absolutely fantastic location - we wanted to be on the beach so it was the perfect location for us. So great for our family of 10 to be able to easily walk back and forth to the beach. Rental company just needed to put some attention to treating ants, etc. For a large number of beds, another bathroom would have been nice. I realize the property is for sale, though, so probably is not a priority. It will be sad if another monster building is put in its place. The beach houses are charming.

Location and customer service were great. A couple physical things - the front door knob is janky and feels a little unsafe. One of the toilet paper dispensers was broken upon arrival.

Gorgeous view!

The home was in a perfect spot! Enjoyed afternoon breezes on patio and morning and evening walks on beach beach combing treasures. The shower and tub could use a good bleach clean and floors need a better sweeping. Spices would be handy. Basics like salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder and sugar would be appreciated.

This property does not match the listing at all. The home is poorly maintained and was very dirty upon arrival—it did not appear to have been cleaned beforehand. We found stained sheets, dirty carpets, and cigarette residue throughout the house. The outdoor area, where pets are expected to go to the bathroom, was especially concerning, with trash and broken glass scattered everywhere. We attempted to contact the property management but were unable to reach anyone directly. The home is managed by a third party through VRBO, and we only received a response after contacting VRBO and having them intervene on our behalf.Due to the condition of the property, we had no choice but to leave and find alternative accommodations. To make matters worse, we were told that any refund must go through a committee approval process.Overall, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience, and we would not recommend staying here.

We take property standards and guest feedback seriously and will continue addressing any areas of concern with our team.
