About this property

Country Log Cabin #1- In the heart of the White Mountains

Come celebrate winter and the holidays in the cozy log cabin with a real balsam fir Christmas Tree. Watch the snow fall while the crackling fire burns in the wood burning stone fireplace. Gaze out the slider and watch the sunset on the covered front porch.

Enjoy meals out there at the bistro table or relax in the Adirondack chairs. When your eyes grow tired a king size bed in the master bedroom will welcome you. The second bedroom has a queen bed set in the black bear theme.

We are close to all white mountain attractions including Cannon Mountain, Loon Mtn. and Bretton Woods. Scenic drives and hiking trails are abundant in Franconia Notch State Park and all along the Kancamagus Highway. Family attractions such as Clark’s Trading Post and Santa’s Village are within 30 minutes. Quaint villages and towns of Franconia, Sugar Hill, Littleton, Bethlehem, Lincoln and Woodstock are all within 5-30 minutes. Please refer to brochures provided when you arrive at cabin.

Please review the following information:

This log cabin has two cats that travel with the owner and occupy the space when it’s not available as a rental. For those that may be allergic to cats, we have minimized this by using separate sets of sheets, pillows, blankets and a quilt for the quest beds and do a thorough vacuuming and hair removal from furniture, rugs, floors and other surfaces. Though we do our best to remove any presence of the cats, we cannot guarantee that this will not cause a reaction for those sensitive to cats.

This was a nice place for us to stay for the New Year. We had easy access to Littleton and all of the attractions in the area. Host was very communicative and made everything really easy for our stay. Thanks!

My bride and i stayed three nights here. The fireplace steals the show, the the cabin itself is quite stunning!! Great stay!! Close enough to things to do, but cozy enough that you may not want to leave the cabin!! Super clean and they have everything you need!! We'll be back for sure!!!!

It was a beautiful cabin

It was a beautiful cabin they lay out pamphlets that helped us find places to eat and places to visit, which was very nice. The only downside is that it is in the neighborhood which the neighbors dog was released at 1:30 in the morning and would bark for about half an hour each night before they brought them back in, but besides that it was beautiful and quiet

Magical little log cabin!

We loved our stay at this quaint little log cabin. It had everything that we needed. The beds were super comfy and the fireplace was perfect. We actually spent most of our time on the covered front porch watching all the birds. The porch had flowers and bird feeders that attracted beautiful yellow finches, woodpeckers, and hummingbirds. The house if off the beaten track quite a bit but the side roads were filled with wildflowers, little stores, and Polly’s Pancake Parlor. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful, nicely decorated, clean and "homey" property

The three of us stayed for almost a week in August. We loved the cabin. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked up and had all amenities, including a dishwasher, toaster oven and a Keurig coffee maker. The bathrooms were clean, the half bathroom had nice washer and dryer. The beds were very comfortable. The locations was fine, and the neighbor's property mentioned by some other reviewers did not bother us at all. Very quiet at night, easy road access and we could get to all major attractions nearby very easily. I recommend this property, and we would love to come back next year.
