Around the Bend was a fantastic cabin. Great communication from the host; cabin was very clean and well maintained. Location was ideal- just far enough from G’burg to enjoy the peace and quiet while close enough to experience it all. Will stay again!

James was a great host! Very attentive and answered quickly with any questions. Property was amazing, it was clean and very comfortable. Very close to attractions and the smoky mountains. There were bear by our cabin so be mindful that you are locking cars and locking the trash bins. Seeing the bears were a highlight and made my trip complete.

We loved our stay at Around the Bend which is in a cute development. The location was closer than I anticipated to downtown Gatlinburg & a 20-30 minute drive to Pigeon Forge, but just far enough to retreat to our cabin for rest & relaxation. Heed the bear warnings. There was a bear in the development a few times daily! Owner very responsive and easy to work with.

We loved this cabin! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Super peaceful setting and perfect for relaxing—coffee on the porch was a highlight. The host was great and made everything easy. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

The property was clean and well equipped. It was just a few turns off Hwy 321, which made it easy to find and convenient to go into the heart of Gatlinburg. The beds were comfortable and we slept well there because the location was very quiet. Communications with the owner was good and responses to questions were timely. All in all it was a good experience and we would rent this property again if we return to Gatlinburg.

Perfect location from which to to explore the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. Clean. Well-furnished. Comfortable beds and couches. Loved the decks. Plenty of room for the family to spread out (after enjoying the hot tub) so we could all sleep well after a long day of activity! Highly recommend a cabin when exploring the area to escape the crowds at peak travel times. The host communicated all important information early. Check in was extremely easy.

James was a great host to deal with. He communicated consistently and kept information readily available. The cabin was as described in the photos and information listed. This worked great for my family with the 3 bedrooms all with king beds. Would recommend this rental.

3 King Suites

The location was great! The property needs some a little attention. The hot tub was a little disappointing. The jets barely worked. Found lots of spider webs and things on the floors that hadn’t been vacuumed up from previous tenants. Overall it wasn’t a bad place. We were disappointed the grill was so small.

My wife and I love to hike (I actually proposed on top of a mountain in the White Mountains of NH!) and the Smoky Mountains are beautiful. To have wonderful hiking so close to the restaurants and attractions downtown makes Gatlinburg a unique and fun place to visit!

Why they chose this property

My wife and I fell in love with the high windows bringing light into the cozy living room and the private two levels of decks to enjoy the Smokies.

What makes this property unique

Around the Bend is uniquely situated just minutes from both downtown Gatlinburg and the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts district. It is a part of the Black Bear Falls log cabin community which has a beautiful community swimming pool open during the summer months only to members of the community and their guests.
