We had a lovely quiet stay here. Dogs were welcomed wholeheartedly. The house was basic, clean, and serviceable. Steps to ocean. Communications with owner was a wee bit complicated as there were several messages from owner and house managers and an app we were to download. Might streamline the process a bit more. These are just things we noted and did not take away from our lovely time at this property.

This house was perfect for our family for Thanksgiving. Well stocked with kitchen items, clean, comfortable beds and furniture. Beautiful view of the ocean. Convenient to shops and restaurants. Our only disappointment was that they were dredging sand for beach improvement. Very loud and we could not use the path from the house to access the beach because it was blocked off. Had to drive down the street to a public access.However, this had nothing to do with host, it was all the town of Oak Island.We recommend this house and will rent again.

It was the perfect property for us for a nice week away. A couple big bugs but otherwise good. Super appreciated the gate on the deck. Thank you! Love the keyless entry! Recommendations-please leave the toilet paper in the bathroom and a little soap would be so appreciated. (Just so u can use the restroom after a long road trip) Also, a list of restaurants would have been great. Otherwise everything was great.

Simple & cute!

The outside could use some fresh paint & communication by email was a little slower than I’ve experienced with other vrbo property owners but all in all - I’d stay again! House was clean other than one very large cockroach looking bug that made a visit. Great location! Loved taking my dog! Dunes block some of the oceanfront view unless you’re sitting in the tall chairs but loved sitting on the deck listening to waves & enjoying the views. Very short & easy walk to the beach was a plus! Beds weren’t the most comfortable but not the worst. Some guys were randomly scheduled to stop by & change a filter but I was not notified prior. Owners should try to alert renters in advance or schedule this while renters aren’t there. Overall, I’d stay again.
