Luxury Capitol Hill Mansion

Originally built in 1907, this lovely home is a harmonious merging of classic architecture and contemporary Seattle style. Guests of this home will stay just south of Volunteer Park and among other mansions in this unique historical area of Seattle. You'll have no trouble relaxing in this comfortably updated home
The space
Enjoy meals in the eat-in dining area, or celebrate in the formal dining area. Numerous lounge areas throughout the home, including an entire upstairs living room, means that everyone can enjoy space both together and apart. The private fitness room in the basement will help everyone stay consistent with their fitness goals while traveling. An office (with a closing door) is set up on the second floor for guests who need to complete remote work - it even includes a balcony for when you need to step out for some fresh air.

Bedrooms begin on the second floor of this home, where the modern touches truly shine. Directly to the right, the first and main bedroom is on display with a beautiful sleigh bed and luxurious en suite bathroom (featuring double sinks and a multi-head standalone shower). At the opposite end of the hall, the second bedroom provides a two-window view featuring window shutters that match the original windows of the downstairs living room. The third bedroom (at the very end of the hall) provides a similar arrangement, but with a little extra space and custom track lighting. The full bathroom on this floor features two sink stations, a vanity, and a spacious shower/tub combination all in beautiful vintage-inspired designs. Ascend the stairs to the top floor to find the final rooms of this home - straight ahead is the sunny fourth bedroom, featuring a multi-window rooftop view. To the right, the fifth and final bedroom features a reader-friendly arrangement that includes extra seating, built-in bookshelves, and windows that provide natural backlighting to anyone looking to read in bed.

Beautiful House

A great place for a group of people to stay. One of the upstairs bedrooms had no window coverings, it was pretty bright in the morning. Overall, it was a great house and I would stay there again.

This is an absolutely gorgeous home in a great neighborhood. It was close to the University of Washington which is why we booked it. We loved all of the original architectural details. The house is huge with lots of unique spaces. The only downside was a fruit fly infestation in the kitchen. I'm guessing the previous guests left food out. I alerted the host and I'm sure it will be corrected. Despite that, we would definitely stay here again. We were in awe of the beauty of this house!

The house and location fit the bill. We had 3 extended family groups - and multiple rooms and floors let us spread out. The common areas on the 1st and 3rd floor topped off the arrangements. Go Bills!

Beautiful home in a vibrant walkable neighborhood

This is a beautiful historic home, walkable to great restaurants and shops. Tons of space, beautiful bathrooms, fantastic kitchen. Super easy and friendly check in process. One caveat, the home has been remodeled and is beautiful but it does not have air conditioning (which is the case with many Seattle homes) unfortunately for our family we were there during a historic heat wave. Fans were helpful and provided, but on a 90+ degree day didn’t cool the house down much. Overall this is a great home, and we would definitely stay here again!

Nice home, but not completely clean.

This was a beautiful home. Unfortunately, it wasn't completely clean. Dirt and dust on the floor by the bed in the master bedroom. Dirty shower. Hair in the sink. But, the worst were the ants in the kitchen, counter and table! Owner's response was to deliver a can of spray and refund 100.

I’m really disappointed in your review. You came into the reservation looking for anything you could complain about. We had just had a storm and there were ants in the home. I was very apologetic and offered a full 100% refund of your stay and you rejected it wanting to stay. Your solution and request was that I send bug spray and I sent a bottle via Instacart immediately. You and your party stayed the duration of your stay. I’m not sure what more I could have done. I apologize your stay wasn’t ideal but I tried to do what was in my power to correct it.
