Great cabin with a great location only about 1.5 miles to Pisgah Forest entrance and The Hub. Highly recommend if you plan to bike or hike during your stay. Garage for bike storage and prep was a big plus.

We had an excellent week at Mine Mountain. It was only a short drive to Pisgah NF and to downtown Brevard. We spent a lot of time in the National Forest - Sliding rock and several waterfalls. Our grandchildren loved Crystal Mountain Gem Mine. We also enjoyed the breweries that were kid and dog-friendly. The house was clean and well-stocked. We cooked every night and used the grill. The kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire ring and making s'mores. Be aware that there are other houses next door. One was under renovations (construction noise starting at 7 am). The other with a huge black dog. The neighbor woman got very angry and yelled at me when she was walking her big black dog and our (20 lb) dog barked at her dog. From up the hill on the other side of the road, her dog kept lunging and she seemed barely able to keep it under control.

It was perfect for a weekend traveling with our 3 older children (ages 14-20) and our dog. The kids all had enough space to chill and I liked the gated back deck so dog and I could enjoy a quiet breakfast.

Very cozy cabin with easy access to downtown Brevard and nearby restaurants/shops. Heat worked well over a cold weekend and the wood burning fireplace was a great touch! Loved the large dining table and the open living area.

What a lovely place! Perfect location to visit Asheville and Brevard, but quiet for slowing down after a busy day. The host was wonderful and very communicative. Definitely on our list for when we visit the area again.

We had a great stay, plenty of room for everyone. Wonderful, homey location close to amenities. My kids liked the playroom bedroom and games. My husband and I enjoyed the rocking chairs overlooking the great view. The multiple fireplaces made for great ambiance, and the recommendation for wood delivery made enjoying them effortless. We would stay again.
