Great place and the porch and hot tub were perfect. We really enjoyed our stay. However, if you plan to travel with pets,the back yard fence is NOT secure with many gaps and ways for dogs to get out.

This is a lovely house among wonderful redwood trees. Great respite from the city. We were there a week. Monte Rio is lovely. The nearby Russian River is perfect for swimming, canoeing, etc. Guerneville, just a few miles away is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner options and some really nice art galleries.

It was beautiful. Very cozy well equipped house nestled in old growth giant redwood trees - simply awesome!!! Hot tub surrounded by 7 of these giants. It was perfect in every way. Our 7 nite stay was amazing. Before we left, we booked another 7 nite stay for New Years - can’t think of a better way to bring in 2027. Loved everything about the Willow Haven house in Monte Rio!!!

Lovely stay in Wilowhaven! Surrounded by redwoods. Absolutely Lovely! Go there just to circled by the Giant Redwoods. We came to Monte Rio for a Memorial Service and Nature embraced us, held us…we also spent time at Goat Rock Beach one of the Holiest places on Earth.

Very quaint place with just enough creature comforts to stay for a few days. We loved the deck and hot tub, our dogs felt very at home there as well. We will tell our friends about this home and we will be booking it again next year

Great weekend trip

Willowhaven was the perfect location for a small group of friends to relax after a busy, week-long work event. The hot tub is awesome under the towering redwoods. The home was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay, including a cozy fireplace. The pull out sofa bed was incredibly comfortable and easy to put away for the day. So for those who plan to use that second bed, know that you'll be comfortable. Great locations for food and hikes in Monte Rio nearby, and all that Guernville has to offer is just a short drive away.

This property was VERY comfy! Nestled in Redwood trees with a comfy cabin feel! We had access to plenty of trails and beach spots! The cabin was well equipped with all the cooking items youd need!

So relaxing!!

My husband and our fur babies spent three nights at this wonderful location! The hot tub under the redwoods….priceless! Everything was provided for a very relaxing stay…loved..loved…loved it!

lovely and unique place in the redwoods

We really enjoyed our stay at Willowhaven. It's close to a great river spot to swim in with our kids. We tried a spot in Guerneville, but it was only for camp guests, while this was for the community and great during the week with fewer locals or tourists. The hot tub is phenomenal. Really sells the place. Good for a family of 4 or a couple.

Relaxing

This cabin, Willohaven was over the top. One of the nicest places that I have rented and I was so happy with it. Those huge redwoods surrounding the hot tub was beautiful. If you ever start I. The Monte Rio area, stay here, you will not regret it.

Very comfortable stay

I’m not sure if we were tired or if it was the quiet woods but we slept until 2pm our first day. Very comfortable bed. House has everything you need. It is not isolated, there are homes all around, but the trees provide a lot of privacy. GREAT trees.

Anniversary Getaway

This property is absolutely beautiful. The deck is huge under the big redwoods and has so many sitting areas. The downstairs area is quaint and cozy. The upstairs bedroom is very large and beautiful with high ceilings. We loved the way the house was decorated. Thank you for opening up your home💕

Soo many stairs lol!

It's a beautiful place. It's hard to find so be careful on the drive. But it's such a great place. The outside hottub has a vibe with those enormous redwoods surrounding it. Very peaceful.

Beautiful Property, Perfect for Romantic Getaway

The property was amazing and perfect for my husband, myself, and our furbaby. Only a few small problems: dishes were not well washed (may have been their dishwasher) and the jets for the hot-tub and inside bath were not working. Other than that is was amazing. Would definitely come again!

Great overall

Aside from the patio furniture that was not cleaned and a bit weathered, the overall stay was great. The listing said to bring charcoal for the grill, but it wasn’t necessary because there was a propane grill and I also received an email the day of our arrival that charcoal was not allowed. I called the property manager to clarify this, but they never got back to me. Inside the cabin was very clean and cozy.
