We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and well suited for our family. The space made it easy to relax and feel at home throughout our visit.Our host, Lois, was very responsive and helpful in answering our questions before our arrival. The check-in and check-out procedures were simple and seamless, with clear instructions that made everything very convenient.The location was also ideal. The area felt safe and was within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, and fast-food options. We parked in the garage attached to the supermarket, which was convenient and gave us peace of mind that our vehicle was secure.Overall, the duplex was perfect for our needs, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely consider staying here again!

The location is great -- nice neighborhood; close to restaurants, Metro & stores.Sleeping arrangements and beds/baths were fine.When we questioned if DC water was safe to drink, just-in-case, the Hostess dropped off a new Brita water filter, a case of bottled water, and a cart for hauling groceries!! How thoughtful -- communication and gifts were above expectations!!We were very happy w/this rental.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place was disgustingly! The outside of the area was filthy! The inside smelled like bad cleaner trying to cover up urine. The pillows on the couch were ripped, just a nasty place! The parking is by some grocery store that you pay for, so you have to walk with all your luggage in a not so desirable neighborhood. We took one look at this place and said absolutely not!!!! We drove way out of the area and found a hotel room where we were cramped, but it was clean and safe. We ate a lot of money by not staying here and paying for a hotel room, and I couldn’t afford it either, that’s how bad this place was. They lied about how close it was to everything too. Do yourself a favor and skip this place entirely! Worst place ever! Sorry to have to say this, but it’s true.

We try our best to provide a very clean home with Free amenities. We also Provide excellent service by providing phone numbers to contact us immediately with any questions or concerns. In the case where our housekeepers are delayed due to work-load we always provide a Inconvenience fee. Additionally, the few times we’ve had concerns over the past 15years, we immediately resolve them. This guest contacted us in an extremely combative matter. This guest was not only irrational, it was obvious by the statements that this guests made, that she had no idea of the professional but diverse population that exists in the neighborhoods of The Nations Capital. We realize that whatever guests write is taken at face value. Our hope is that future guests will read our other reviews and see that we really do provide a good home, good service and the home is in a convenient area that is not only walking distance from many restaurants and bars there are also many other stores. There’s a Lidl Market, Giant Supermarket, Starbucks, Cava, Chipotle, Marshall’s, Target, IHOP, The Metro Train Station, bike rentals and other places of interest are also around the corner from this home. Again, we have no control over how guests feel but our hope is that honesty is a quality that future guests will keep in mind when producing a property review.

What a great property! The host allowed us to drop our bags a little early. It worked great! The house had everything we needed for three ladies. I traveled with two older ladies. The stairs are steep though but there was a room on the main floor for my mother in law so I just made sure I carried the luggage up and down for my friend. It worked out great! Two bathrooms was perfect and the bunk beds were soooo comfortable. I can't imagine how great the other beds were.

This is a great location for families wanting to explore DC! The home is beautifully updated while maintaining the historic character of the home. It was a very comfortable place for our family of five. We felt that the location (a short 5-7 minute walk from the Columbia Heights Metro station) gave us a quieter place to retreat after lots of walking and sightseeing downtown. Nearby are many restaurants and shops, including a Target for any forgotten necessities. This was a great find!

The property is in a great location in regards to proximity to sights. It was also a plus to have a grocery store and parking garage the next street over. The place was overall very clean and tidy but had a couple oversights when cleaning.

Enjoyed Washington DC stay

The property was a quirky layout, but it worked for our stay. The location is good with stores and restaurants within a few a few block walk. Although we used Uber the metro is close. We would use this property on our next visit. Thanks for a good stay

Great spot for families

My family stayed here for our first trip to dc. It was a great location, convient to metro, grocery and restaurants. Communicatuon with owner was easy. Neighborhood was quiet.
