Spiral staircase difficult to navigate with luggage. No dishwasher and laundry facilities not working properly. No assigned parking space near the unit, so a long walk to apartment was our experience. The place was clean and very quiet, a welcome change from other rental properties we have stayed at. The location to area attractions is great. AC unit is outdated and loud.

Home away from home

Beautiful resort accommodations

We stayed at The Nook for 4 nights during our Christmas vacation. It was very conveniently located close to Purgatory and Durango Hot Springs. It had everything we needed and was clean. my husband used the gym while there and we dined at one of the restaurants. We would recommend to other travelers to the area.

Loved the Condo

Had a great time staying at the Nook. Place was clean and organized. I had trouble with the bedroom TV but who wants to watch TV when you have so much more to enjoy. Area was quiet so great place to relax.

Not Bad for the Price

First of all, saying it's a one bedroom is a bit of a misnomer; it's an efficiency. Only three real complaints: It's an upstairs condo with a spiral staircase for access--very difficult to maneuver luggage, packages, etc. . . There is no balcony with a view (other than the entry/front door landing of the spiral staircase overlooking the parking lot). Several other similar condos have views of the golf course and mountains. Finally, the bed is extremely small (a double) and not very comfortable for two adults. . . I'm not sure we'd rent it again, unless (like this time) nothing else was available on short term notice.
