About this property

Cozy home in El Camino Village. 20 Minutes from the beach and LAX

Come stay at a quiet neighborhood that we have chosen to raise our family in! Due to family reasons, we are currently living in Japan, but plan on moving back one day. In the meantime, we are renting it out for others to also enjoy a nice relaxing stay while travelling in the Socal area.

Our home is conveniently located southwest of downtown Los Angeles, and only a 20 min taxi ride from LAX. It is a relatively safe neighborhood, where I often took my kids for walks around the block in the afternoon. There is a super market and 7-11 within walking distance (8 min).

You can also enjoy a leisurely walk down to Alondra park to enjoy the view. Be sure to also check out the Splash Pad and skate park when you are there. If you are a golf fanatic, the Alondra Golf course is a 18 hole par 3 course which is right next to the park.

If you need to go out further, there's also easy access to public transport. To get on the Metro, it is a 5 min walk to the bus station, 15 min ride on the bus to get to the Metro Crenshaw Station. The Metro can take you up to Hollywood for some sightseeing or out to Santa Monica to enjoy a stroll along the beach.

Our home is a cozy house with 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom. The kitchen has all the essentials to cook a meal at home. In the living room we have a 55" smart TV with Netflix. There is also a table for you to setup your mobile workstation. 300Mbps internet connection connected to Linksys Velop Mesh routers provide fast internet anywhere in the house.

My brother is helping us manage the property and will be in the detached garage in the backyard and available to take care of any issues you might have.

David is a great host. Although he is not in town, it feels as if he is. He responds immediately, and if there is a problem or concern, he responds and addresses itright then and makes it right. He has his brother near by to help with anything, if needed.The place was nice and cozy. The neighborhood is peaceful, clean and quiet. The neighbors are nice. The home has everything you need to make it feel like home. Just bring your favorite foods to prepare. Everything is there. I estimate I saved about 500-600 on meals by buying things to make for breakfast everyday and for supper. 3 meals eating out per day for 3 people easily equals to about 120-150 per day.We would just spend on a nice mid afternoon lunch everyday. The only thing about 2nd bedroom, it is wide open. An opening from the kitchen and also, it does not have main door. I was good with it, but if you have someone that expects 100% privacy, this will not work. We would definitely choose this place again. It is so centralized to everything, all the great beaches and shopping. Great mall just 3 miles away in Redondo Beach.Thanks David!

The host was very communicative and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with the basics. It could’ve been a little cleaner, we did notice some dirt spots on walls/ dishes that needed to be washed, but definitely recommend if you need a stay in the LA area!

Another great stay at David's place

I have stayed at David's place before, and once again, it was ideal for my trip. A quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors, off-street parking in the driveway, a comfortable king-size bed, and washer & dryer, etc. David is very responsive. I would stay there again.
