The best memories are made at the beach! Purple Surf is the perfect space to relax & enjoy time with your family and friends. Just seconds from the beach, where you can soak in the sun all day! Enjoy grilling, dinner, and cornhole while your kids play in the enclosed yard with playset. Close to stores & restaurants, but not too close for the noise. After a long day of fun, unwind and watch one of the six ROKU TVs, play some board games, or challenge each other on the classic arcade machine!

Purple Surf is a 1700 sqft home that has 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, a fully equipped kitchen with both drip-style coffee machine and Keurig-style coffee machine. The deck is perfect for enjoying the sunrise with your coffee or sunset with your cocktail. The entertaining area below the stilted house has tons of space to hang out, grill, and play some cornhole with the family. Whether you’re in town to work on your tan, celebrate a holiday, charter a fishing boat, or “just for fun”, this is the perfect Crystal Beach home base.

Bedroom 1: King Bed with Roku TV and master bath with walk in shower
Bedroom 2: King Bed with Roku TV
Bedroom 3: King bed with Roku TV
Bedroom 4: Double-over-double bunk bed with Roku TV
Bedroom 5/Loft: Loft room with 2 twin daybeds with 2 twin trundles (total of 4 twin beds) with Roku TV and a connect bathroom with shower.

Please note: while this is a loft bedroom, there are pocket doors that close off the opening to make it a private bedroom. Stairs lead to this bedroom and bathroom combo.

Other included sleeping options: we also have a sleeper sofa in the main living room area.

Arrive at this home and find massive picnic tables ready for your family nights, right next to the fully fenced yard with playset. Walk up the stairs and see the wonderful deck which features two large lounging chairs, two tall captain’s chairs, two small chairs that your kids will surely love, and a table with four chairs to have a drink and catch up on your favorite parts of the day. Sit back and enjoy the sounds of the waves as you witness the beautiful gulf sunsets! It’s true, there is nothing better than a Texas sunset!

Each bedroom features a Roku television perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach and catching up on your favorite show or watching a movie. The master bathroom features a walk-in rainfall shower. 2nd downstairs bath features a bathtub perfect for soaking or bathing your little ones. The upstairs bathroom features an enclosed walk-in shower

An open-floor concept connects the living room to the kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, drip coffee maker, Keurig-style coffee maker, as well as plates, cups, silverware and more. Stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, 8-person countertop island, full knife set, toaster, coffee grinder, cooking basics and dinnerware.

Bathrooms are stocked with many soft towels plus there is a stackable washer and dryer on site. Beach towels are in each bedroom. A variety of board games are included in the living room to help your family make memories.

We had such a great stay at this vacation home! It was the perfect setup for families, with plenty of space for a multi‑family group with an ocean view and a fantastic game room that kept the kiddos entertained for hours. The fully fenced‑in yard was a huge bonus it helped keep the little ones safe and contained, which gave us great peace of mind. Inside, the home was spotless and stocked with everything we needed to feel right at home, a grill, plenty of cookware, extra blankets and bedding, and even a washer and dryer. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of thought into making sure guests have a comfortable, stress‑free stay. Although the January weather and an incoming winter storm kept us from enjoying many outdoor activities, we noticed tons of fun options for better weather boogie boards, outdoor games, a small swing set, and even a Jacuzzi under the really cool covered deck area below the house. Even though we stayed inside more than expected, the home made it easy to relax and enjoy time together. We’d absolutely love to come back when the weather is warmer to take advantage of everything this place has to offer!

Beautiful property, great access to the beach. This is located right off the main street. You can hear the traffic at all hours day and night. The enclosed yard is a bonus for small children and pets. Owner is responsive and friendly. Would stay here again.

Wonderful Father’s Day weekend!

We had such a great time! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. Location is perfect for our time on the beach. We enjoyed all the wonderful amenities. We had a great stay at Purple Surf! Loved how close it was to the beach and all the toys available for the kids to have fun in the sand. The kids had fun with the arcade room too!The views from the deck were great and many morning cups of coffee were enjoyed listening to the birds. Check-in was easy and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Host was responsive to all questions and concerns.As mentioned in other reviews the road noise was near constant and all the living space is up a flight of stairs. We knew this going in so nothing negative on the host, but is certainly something to note if you have family that may be challenged by daily stair use.

Perfect family getaway

The owners had installed a firepit the week before we arrived. Such a great surprise and perfect for some chilly evenings we spent during our Thanksgiving trip. The beach access was super convenient and the views were great. This is no way felt like at 4th-row beach house. Loved the fenced in back yard for our pup, and the way the fence encompassed the stair landing was very well though out. Three king bedrooms made all the adults in our group feel comfortable. The house overall was very well laid-out and well appointed.

Family reunion and surprise birthday party

This was a great property. Plenty of room and set up well to host a large surprise birthday party for my mom. The only thing that would make this a better property would be to add a cargo lift to get things up and down for the stay. But we knew at the outset that it was a beach house and that it didn't have a cargo lift, so nothing negative on the owners.

Beautiful home!!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. We were a group of 2 families (4 adults, 6 kids) and the house fit us perfectly. Would probably could have even had another family of 4/5 and still have been very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was very clean. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make all meals in. The upstairs game room was such a hit for the kids and they would have been happy playing up there all day. Upstairs is a loft, but there are doors than can be closed so it does feel private and like another bedroom. The beach is literally steps away and we even let the older kids go down by themselves since we could see them from the deck of the house. We’d love to come back to this house again!
