The Saguaro Studio is a 3 minute drive from the heart of Downtown, 2 minutes from Tucson Convention Center, and 2 minutes from I-10 freeway. It's the perfect location for exploring Tucson.

The Saguaro Studio welcomes you to a historic stay in downtown Tucson. This gem was built in 1915, known as The Salcido House, it was named after the family that adored it for 75+ years. This beautiful multi-family home has been divided into 3 separate living spaces and the Saguaro Studio is perfect for solo travelers or couples. Located just South of Downtown at the historic Five Points Barrio Santa Rosa district.

Is that a cloud you're sleeping on? Nope, that's just the green tea memory foam mattress we got in your bedroom! This studio property offers a queen bed with plenty of pillows. The blackout curtains and A/C will ensure you have a restful nights sleep. Relax and catch those zzz's.

The bathroom has a beautiful claw foot tub and shower. Guests are provided with Public Goods shampoo, conditioner and body wash (clean, holistic and sustainable- yay!) The bathroom is stocked with plenty of important essentials like: shower towels, makeup towels, a hair dryer, q-tips, unlimited oxygen and more.

Guests are welcome to use the clothes rack and dresser for clothing storage needs. Iron and ironing board are also provided.

Inside the kitchen, you'll find all the silverware, pots, pans and plates you need to cook yourself dinner from scratch. Because sometimes we just want a home-cooked meal, right? You'll find all you need in this kitchen including a full-sized fridge, oven-stove, toaster, coffee machine (and better yet a pour over brewer), microwave, pots, pans and more. Please enjoy the fresh coffee provided for you. Looking for takeout or to dine some place amazing? This is a Smart Home equipped with e-locks for the convenience of self check-in. A stay in the Groovy Getaway's living room's has a nice flat-screen tv where you'll be able to Netflix and chill with your favorite humans. The 50" smart TV provides access to most typical streaming apps. We also have some classic board games for your entertainment!

The property offers fast wireless internet. There is not a defined work space, but the kitchen table can be used as a small work area if needed.

The private side yard is a peaceful place to enjoy the weather as the sun fades!

Historic Gem near downtown Tucson

I had a great stay recently in the heart of Barrio Santa Rosa. I walked 15mins to downtown and also experienced the markets and restaurants near my stay. Cute and comfy place:)

The location was very convenient for us. The studio was super clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-appointed.Because it is a small space I might lose the fake plants…they take up needed space!The screen door could use a spring so it doesn’t slam every time you go in and out. Finally some direction ms for the microwave would have been help

Old World Charm

This old bungalow studio unit is small but very clean. The kitchen has everything you need, including a pour-over coffee kit. Enjoyed that morning coffee in the east patio. Walkable to downtown, though not close. We enjoyed our stay, hosts were very responsive and informative.

Located in Barrio Santa Rosa / Five Points, the area blends colorful homes, local art, and some of the city’s best restaurants and coffee shops—all within easy walking distance. What we love most is being able to step outside and experience Tucson’s culture on foot, then return to a quiet, cozy retreat just minutes from Downtown and the University of Arizona.
