About this property

Sunset Veranda with peekaboo views of Winnipesaukee!

Welcome to Dockham Shore Road and this gorgeous, 3 level, beautifully decorated home. We are lucky these owners want to share this with you. Sleeps up to 12 people with 5 bedrooms and 3 and 1/2 bathrooms. Bring the extended family and vacation together in this expansive home.

On the main level you will find 2 living room areas, a huge dining table, well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, and a half bath with washer and dryer. Step out onto the covered porch that spans the entire front and side of this home - the veranda, if you will.

On the second level is a bedroom with a King bed, ensuite full bath and a walk in closet. Bedroom 2 on the second floor has a Queen bed, bedroom 3 has two Twin beds and bedroom 4 has a Twin over Full pyramid bunk with a Full trundle (in case you don't want to be on the top bunk!) A full bath is shared by all three of these bedrooms and there is a sitting area at the top of the stairs. Views of the lake from 3 out of 4 bedrooms is a bonus.

On the lower level is another living area and the 5th bedroom with a Queen bed. Also, the 3rd full bathroom is located here!

Outside you will find, in the backyard, a beautiful fire pit, outdoor seating and your grilling area. Don't forget the huge porch at the front of the house mentioned above!

Pets are welcome with prior owner approval and a pet fee added. You will have to sign a pet agreement, as well, and let us know the details of your beloved, furry family member!

The garage is not included in the rental, there will be no access. There is an accessory dwelling above the garage not included in this rental. There are year round tenants who live there. Please do not park to the right of the home or out back as that is the access to the accessory dwelling.

Christmas get away

We loved our stay at Sunset Veranda! The house is beautiful and plenty of room for us all. There’s a great view of the lake then a peekaboo. We were very happy and would stay there again!

Not really 5 bedrooms

This is a beautiful home, with an open floor plan. The location is near to where my son lives and convenient to many of the places we were going to. We had a wonderful stay, and my only issue was that the Queen bedroom in the lower level, did not have a door, for privacy. The only furniture was one small nightstand, there wasn't a dresser, so I could not unpack and the two nearby closets were locked.

Big Brother is Watching!

There was no issues with the actual property but you should know you will be watched while you are there. The description specifically calls out no more than 4 cars at a time and no more than 12 people. I was there with family for a wedding down the street and had a few people stop by to briefly visit with coffee and donuts. Within 20 minutes, the property manager called me to ask why there were excess cars and how many people were currently there. This was in the late morning , not late at night and at no point were we excessively loud. I explained the situation and was reminded of the rules, so I had to ask the visiting family members to shorten their visit. The property manager claimed the owner lived across the street and saw all this but my guess is they are watching through the cameras stationed at each corner and entrance to the house and are using the Ring device in the kitchen to listen in to monitor sound. It was a bit of a damper on what was great family weekend, knowing that a slight bend of the rules would be immediately scolded.
