Private secure parking on the edge of the new Low Emissions Zone. The space This is a 2 story townhouse. The garage and reception area with a toilet and sink are on the ground floor. The first floor has a spacious living room with kitchen and the second floor has the 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with separate bath and shower. There are juliet balconies off the living room and both bedrooms.
We also use this house when in Edinburgh so take pride in designer furniture, soft furnishing and original art. Guest access Our townhouse including garage is completely yours. Other things to note Always grateful if you could water our plants on the balcony

Cute condo close to the center of action in Edinburgh. Owner was attentive and helpful. Condo was clean and comfortable. We would recommend without hesitation.
My family all had a wonderful time. The location was amazing for both sightseeing and was so conveniently close to the EICC where I had a work event. Alastair was super responsive and helpful with any questions. Everything was clean, organized. Would definitely stay here again.
Had an amazing time staying in Edinburgh at Alistair's town house which was immaculate and in easy reach of the city centre. The town house had all the modern equipment required and was super clean. Would not hesitate to book this again. The host Alastair was very good offering great advice on the local attractions and amenities
Great stay close to the High street (Castle) and Grassmarket (10 min walk each). Garage very convenient for rental car. Multiple restaurants 5 min walk or less. 2 groceries near by. Well appointed and comfortable. Will stay again. Land lord very responsive.
The location was a few blocks from the Haymarket Rail Station and ideal for exploring Edinburgh on foot and/or by public transportation. Lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood, and Alistair’s recommendations were spot on. He was a very responsive host. The flat has all the mod cons and quite comfortable beds. The washing machine and bathtub are great features, but we found the furnishings in the living/dining area a bit rudimentary for our taste.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay Nancy. Sorry you felt it was too expensive but I'm afraid Edinburgh in August is always extremely expensive. It is really not realistic to compare with your own prices in New Mexico.
Taste is very subjective but our furniture in the living room has been carefully selected and are all of themselves design classics by Ligne Roset, Roche Bobois, Bo Concept and Arne Jacobsen.
Alastair was an incredible property manager and very helpful. He met us in person and made sure we were settled, had Wi-Fi and good recommendations. The property was perfect for our needs. Close to everything and safe with a garage for parking. The ceilings in the bedrooms are vaulted and low and the kitchen appliances were not intuitive for Americans, other than that everything was perfect. Thanks for a great stay.
Stayed at property June 2023 with 4 adults and 2 dogs. Property was very clean and provided all comforts for a week stay. Communication with owner was excellent. Location for sightseeing was excellent, within walking distance of major sights. Property is on a relatively quiet street except that it is across the street from a hotel parking lot with dumpsters that are emptied twice a week early in the morning. The full dumpsters attracted numerous noisy seagulls also early in the morning. A police station next door which was comforting. Some cars from the police station coming at and going at times.
We had a great stay here - Alastair was a fantastic host. He shared plenty of recommendations for our family to eat and explore in Edinburgh, and they did not disappoint. He was also very communicative and responsive. The property is on a side street off the main drag but minutes from helpful bus, tram, and train lines that can take you into town (or out of it). Murrayfield Stadium is one tram stop away. The house itself is well appointed, and I personally loved the red accents. If you’re traveling with littles, there are gaps between the steps on some levels in case that’s relevant. Other reviews mentioned the noise from the dumpsters but it wasn't an issue for us. Overall very happy with the experience!

Super Lage, alles fussläufig erreichbar in der Altstadt. Wohnung ist sehr ansprechend über 2 Etagen verteilt. Gastgeber ist stets erreichbar und antwortet schnell. Wohnung hat eine Garage, welche wir mit unserem Mietwagen nutzten. Trotz Innenstadtlage ist die Wohnung widererwarten ruhig.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt während des Aufenthaltes. Die Kommunikation mit Alastair war unkompliziert, schnell und zufriedenstellend. Die Lage des Hauses etwas außerhalb des Touristenzentrums war optimal, der Weg zum nächsten Bahnhof/Tramstation kurz und fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten auch zu Fuß erreichbar.
Die Zimmertüren waren gewöhnungsbedürftig, da sie von allein geschlossen haben wie Feuerschutztüren (das zuschlagen der Tür konnte dabei auch laut sein). Morgens wurden wir von der Müllabfuhr geweckt. Ansonsten entsprach alles der Beschreibung.
