This space was absolutely perfect, I felt at home which is so rare when traveling and in a space that isn’t yours. I really appreciated how clean and seemless check in this place was as well as how close it is for adventuring in SLC! Most definitely recommend, thank you again and again.
Overall a great stay in a good location in town, most things that I needed were within walking distance of me. Tori as a host was also very responsive and helpful. Look no further if you're traveling to downtown SLC
If your in Salt Lake City and need something cute, simple, and cozy this is your sign to stay here! It was so cute and nice! Loved it, thank you for having me!
We had an amazing time staying at the City Flat. We had a slight issue with the door code not working, but Tori was able to help us get in immediately and was extremely responsive and helpful. The property was exactly as described and the location was perfect. We were always able to get a parking spot right out front, and the property was in a great location. We’ll definitely try to stay here again in the future!
I stayed for two nights at this venue and would highly discourage anyone from staying here. There are a number of issues with the unit. First off, it is a half below ground/basement unit with very little natural light or windows. It’s very noisy from both the street and the people walking in the unit above it. The ceilings in the Unit are literally about 6’4” so someone who was tall wouldn’t even be able to walk down here. The bathroom is incredibly small with literally no Counter space whatsoever. There was only one washcloth and one hand towel in the entire place. The area in which the unit is located is a bit shall we say “sketchy” And one that I did not feel particularly comfortable in. The kitchen has no dishwasher and did not have a clean and unopened scrub brush or sponge to clean the dishes. The check-in time for this unit is also very late compared to most spots – it was 4 PM and the owners offered no flexibility in doing an early check-in without an additional payment. The worst thing about the entire unit is that the bed was not particularly comfortable, and that the frame must be the cheapest frame ever made and squeaks horrifically every time you roll around or even shift position in the bed. It says cheap as they come. For that reason alone, I could never stay here again. Though it does have an adult novelty store directly across the street from it as well as a Asian massage parlor. If that’s your kind of thing. There is also a light rail system that crosses
I needed a place to sleep, shower, and cook breakfast. This place checked all the boxes and was within walking distance of anything I needed. The host was quick to respond, super friendly, and answered all of my questions.
Pros:• Location is just on the outskirts of downtown, so not a lot of hustle and bustle but close enough to walk or scooter ride to everything.• Cleanliness• Price: can’t beat it!• Bedroom bed is very comfortable• Host was great!Cons:• If you’re over 6 feet this might not be for you as the ceilings are quite short. • If you plan on sleeping in be advised there is another unit above you, and feet sounds travel.• if you’re using the futon as a second bed, remember, it’s a futon.Overall I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Tori!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
There were a few shops nearby, but not many within feasible walking distance for my partner and I as I am in a wheelchair. It was relatively easy to get to the bus stop, though, if a little bit of a walk. There was some confusion at the start of our stay as I did not realize that we would be staying in a smaller apartment in the basement. This may just be user error by not looking close enough at the listing, but I don’t believe it was communicated very clearly to me either. The area is a bit dodgy, though that is expected within city limits. I had quite a bit of difficulty fighting with the air conditioner, which may also be user error, but I tried practically everything and nothing seemed to get it to work how i wanted it to. There were a few concerning things about the construction of our apartment, namely the lack of backing on the shower head, uneven grout with concerning discoloration, and some other construction aspects that looked a bit unfinished. The mattresses were quite nice, much nicer than most places I’ve stayed, but the bed frames were metal and flimsy and creaked an enormous amount with any movement, including just turning over in bed. This lead to us being awoken at late hours because the bed was… creaking in the apartment above us. Parking seemed to be alright, we didn’t have a car, but there was a space available most of the day. Everything was sparkling clean and the linens were soft, plush, and warm. Overall a relatively good stay for the price.
Comfy digs, excellent communication, great experience
I came in for two days and nights of work, and the place was a perfect match. About a 15-minute walk to downtown, where I was able to meet with colleagues; great hi-speed internet so I could work well from the apartment. I didn't end up getting a chance to use the kitchen, but it was well-equipped and one could certainly do all the cooking as needed. Everything was clean, the shower was strong. Tori was a great communicator every step of the way, so I knew I could reach out if I needed to (I didn't -- everything was great).
The unit is near SLC downtown so it’s close to a lot of good eateries. It is also just about 30 min drive to Park City.
The unit is underground. Clean and cozy. Heater keeps the unit nice and warm. Shower has good power and heat.
Clean up-to-date kitchen unit, pots and pans, plates utensils and so forth allowing meal prep if you like. The bedroom and bathroom are in the small side but definitely worth the price.
