Located in the beautiful Squaw Valley minutes from breweries and restaurants of Evergreen, and just 20 min down the pass from Mount Blue Sky and Echo Lake. Close to great hiking trails (Beaver Brook Watershed, Elk Meadow, Maxwell Falls, Chicago Lakes + more) while enjoying a quiet, mountain neighborhood with gorgeous views. Newly remodeled while still maintaining a rustic escape. Great central location - from Denver (35 min), skiing (50 min to WP and A Basin), Red Rocks (17 min), Conifer (25 min).

Here are a couple options for Golden, too. One off top of my head is the Golden Mill, great food hall.... As well as Tributary, a smaller food hall with a coffee shop and some other food options.
Perfect location to ski/hike or get a city experience in the same day.

About the host
Hosted by James Joliat

I'm a local video producer in Denver, CO. I moved up to Evergreen in 2016 to escape the city. Evergreen is a perfect place to live... close to the mountains, close to the city. Everything you need is within 10 minutes from where we live. I remodeled our next door rental last year, it used to be the annex to our house in the 60's and 70's. It's a lovely space and we hope you enjoy it!
Why they chose this property
The cabin is tucked away on a private dirt road, surrounded by amazing wildlife and awesome Evergreen valley views. Very quiet neighbors, too. We live next door so we are able to accommodate any special needs for our guests. The property is a short drive down to Bergen Park and downtown Evergreen where you'll find great restaurant options, breweries, grocery stores and anything else you need to make your stay comfortable. There are countless hikes within 10-15 minutes and some of the best views in all of Colorado. For example, you can drive to the top of Mount Evans, one of Colorado's famed 14'rs, just 20 min up the road. Most ski hills are within a hour to hour and a half drive (beating out all the Denver traffic).
What makes this property unique
Close access to great hiking trails and ski hills. Plenty of options for white water rafting and climbing. Denver (35 min), Boulder (45 min) and Golden (20 min), Idaho Springs (15 min), Red Rocks Amphitheater (15-20 min) are just a short drive away. Our cabin feels like a mountain escape without the stress of being too far off the grid. Everything you need is a short 10 minute drive away (grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, drug store, coffee shops) but that doesn't sacrifice the mountain experience.
