I would stay here again. It's a home and feels like a home. the reviews are fairly accurate. we had a 1 year old baby and there were actually some baby friendly toys. The location is excellent. Then are some walking trails within 1/4 mile. There's also a nice back area with a couple swings. The cleaning fee is a bit high but the overall price is consistent with this area. As always, my wife wanted the place left spotless, oh well. The oven and microwave are very good. There's a Nexpresso machine. Frig looks fairly new. Dishwasher works.

Other guest have mentioned the lack of outdoor furniture on the back deck. It is the one thing the host could do to improve the quality of the stay. There is a nice deck out back and a beautiful backyard with zero chairs or tables. A couple of 100 in cheap patio furniture at Home Depot would solve the problem and improve the experience. Other than that, the property was clean and updated, kitchen was well stocked with anything needed to prepare meals, beds were comfortable and plenty of towels and washcloths. The thermostat seemed to be programmed and we never could figure out how to temporarily set it to a desired setting.

The property is spacious and comfortable. It is very open with lots of natural light. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were decent size. The kitchen was fairly well equipped with new sauté pans while this can be an issue at other properties. We cook a lot and found a few essentials missing but informed host. The property lacks outdoor furniture and a BBQ grille main reason for r star rating.

House was great within the 17-mile drive area of Pebble Beach. Everything was clean and had all kitchen utensils and equipment that was needed. The bedrooms were comfortable. Though we didn’t use them lots of space for kids and books to read.

Cute house, very accomodating

I stayed here on a galentine's trip with some friends and the host was very friendly and responsive! She left us some chocolates and always responded very fast, there were any and all appliances that we needed and the location was fantastic. Literally within the 17 mile drive

Lovely location, cozy home

Looks exactly like the pictures. Very sweet and cozy home with lots of light and all the amenities. The neighborhood is really unbeatable - you can easily walk to beautiful beaches and are right on the 17 mile drive. Very safe and quiet.

Spacious home

This home was perfect for our family stay. The host was always in communication with us. My only suggestion is some patio furniture on the front and back deck, there was no place to sit outside. And both sliding glass doors were very hard to open/close. Perfect location and the house has charm and character.

Charming Old Home

We had a lovely stay! It was very clean and accessible, very cute old home, but smells like an old home. After cooking in the kitchen the smell wasn't as noticeable, but my autistic 4 year old would hold his nose every time he would enter the kitchen. There are two attached apartments to the home and my very private husband was a little unnerved about that, but I never saw or heard them. Beds were comfortable and the yard was amazing! Great little get away for the family.

Lovely Location

We had a great stay at Elena’s! The house is located in the perfect location, right off 17 mile drive, 5 min to a beach, 10 min to Carmel, and less than 10 min to Monterey. Although the house is a bit dated, it was very clean, and the beds were comfy. The house had all the basic essentials…pots/pans, silverware, plates, bath soaps, towels, etc. The backyard is beautiful and serene. My daughter loved swinging on the swing in the backyard and looking through the shelves of children's books at the house. There are two people who live in private studios on the property, but we never saw them or heard them and had no common spaces to share. Elena was a very kind and helpful hostess.

The house is roomy and set nicely in the woods on a road that has only light traffic. The kitchen appliances and dishware are fine. Unfortunately, the property is in serious need of maintenance and upkeep. Many of the doors have holes that were inexpertly patched with material that doesn't match. Other doors and the refrigerator have splitting veneer that was "repaired" with transparent packing tape. The kitchen cabinets were so old that the fronts were worn down to bare wood in many places. The sheet in the master bedroom had a hole in it. The bedroom had only one table lamp, placed on one side of the bed and the person on the other side didn't have enough light to read by. The dining room chandelier had only 3 working bulbs out of 8. Two of the electrical outlets (one in the bedroom and one in the little hall)were so old that they no longer held the plug in place, so the phones I was trying to charge overnight didn't charge. The only lamp in the living room did not provide enough light to see or read by at night. The water saver on the shower cut off the water at unpredictable times. The front porch apparently hadn't been swept for weeks. An old 6-inch wide paint brush had been left beside the fence.

Uncomfortable couch, we had to put books under the cushions to sit. Not well lighted (kitchen, bathroom & bar) as many light bulbs were burned out. The motion light on the garage did not work,TV is very small. When leaving there is a very strict time to get out as she was sending in cleaners at 10:15! I was instructed to take the trash out, yet her cleaners can do it at 10:15 am! Nice location and Monica was as helpful as can be.
