Just a few steps from the deck with patio screen-house and large gas grill, and you find a sandy gradual shoreline, perfect for swimming, canoeing, and kayaking, with a large dock, if you choose to bring a boat. The house itself is perfectly set up for your friend and family gatherings with the large, open-concept kitchen, dining, and living room area with gorgeous views of the lake. The sunroom also boasts an impressive 75 inch smart TV with surround sound if you want to boost your movie night to the next level! Downstairs in the walk out basement, there is a pingpong table, as well as a home gym. Other activities include, of course, campfires, badminton, and the town itself is great for fans of antiques and casino enthusiasts! Looking to book Saturday to Saturday rentals.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Ken’s beautiful home on Thompson Lake. The house had everything we needed and is quite spacious and inviting for a family looking for some peace and quiet. Ken is a great host and I would absolutely rent his place again.

Lovely home on Lake Thompson

My family thoroughly enjoyed our week at Ken’s home, very large home with room for everyone, kids , adults and dogs…the neighborhood was great, peaceful and folks very friendly. Front yard was perfect for games, and neighborhood very nice for bikes and walks.

A Peaceful Lake Vacation

Thompson Lake is a quiet place to enjoy kayaking, swimming, or sitting in the screened deck area reading and listening to the ducks on the water. On rainy days the house here was big enough for our large family to play board games together and also spread out to read or watch movies. This was a very relaxing place to stay!

Wow stay at Ken’s property. Huge house and full second floor master suite with laundry. Dog friendly and that was really nice as we had our dog along for the visit. Hope to come back next year.

Great lakeside getaway

Ken’s property is lovely. There was enough room for three generations and dogs to relax and have a great time. The location on the lake is peaceful and lovely with good access to the deeper lake portion for watersports. Town is nearby for essentials like ice cream at Ricky Dee’s. We loved the hummingbirds, loons and ducks that frequented the area (and even had a bald eagle visitor!).We enjoyed use of the kayaks to explore the shoreline as well.

Family Vacation Thompson Lake Maine

Great place on the water for our small family gathering. Front lawn great for lawn games. Ample and comfortable sleeping accommodations, great 2nd floor master suite. Open kitchen dining and Livingroom. Enjoyed daily workout on the Tonal and Ping-Pong on a rainy day. Nice area for swimming. Great lake for boating and water sports. If you bring or rent a boat pay close attention to the provied chart. Had a great time, thank you....

The house was spacious and there was plenty of room for our group of 5 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs. We had beautiful weather for kayaking. We weren't able to find paddles for the canoe, but luckily we had our own kayak paddles and used the canoe as a tandem kayak. The grill would not start when we tried to use it. In the kitchen, the lights over the island and over the kitchen table did not work. In retrospect, we should have contacted the host to let him know about those issues.
