Great place to stay! Very clean and great location, with all the necessities nearby. Good location to ride snowmobiles from along with ample parking. Just a few steps from the lake!!
We spent 2 nights here exploring the Keweenaw peninsula. It was a great location for driving up to Copper Harbor, Eagle Harbor, Eagle River and Houghton. The place is very nicely updated and very clean with a great view of Lake Superior. King size bed was very comfortable. The only downside i saw in this place is that it is right on the main road which is a very busy and loud road. This may have been mentioned in the description but i missed it. Still a great place to stay if exploring the area. We would stay here again.
We had to visit the area for a wedding. Our needs were a clean comfortable place to stay, get ready and relax. This place did not disappoint! It is beautifulcomfortable and clean.
We rented both this unit and the unit next to it for 2 families. This made us feel like we were all together. The front entrance does not truly show how nice this facility is as it is somewhat close to M41. However, the inside is great (all new) and the back deck overlooks Lake Superior for an amazing view. Would highly recommend.
Owners did everything right! The street is very noisy, not their fault. But the view of the lake and the deck was great! It was a perfect place to stay while we explored the surrounding area. Thanks!!!!
Nice place , right on the water , clean , beds were firm, otherwise really good . My only suggestion, hand towels and facial tissue would have been nice . There were only bath towels . But we had a good time fall colors were spectacular
This house was very clean, well stocked with all the necessities. We had a fantastic view of the Keweenaw bay from our deck which we utilized regularly with the unseasonably warm weather!
We thought this was a house rental. It was actually a third of a house. A house was split into 3 units side by side. That was okay but made it feel more like an apartment. The small kitchenette could use much better pans and utensils. It was all very worn. There was a framed piece of art just leaning against the wall on top of the headboard of the bed. It could have fallen on us while sleeping as it was not secured to wall. We leaned it against the wall on the floor during our stay. Overall this place was fine except the kitchen items.
This summer was our second year staying at this location. The unit is very clean and well organized. The location is perfect as the gateway to the Keweenaw Peninsula - everything to explore is accessible as a day trip. Renee and Basil are also great hosts as they were readily available to answer any questions or concerns we had during our stay.
The view of Lake Superior was great to have. Even with it being right off the highway the noise was minimal. The rental was comfortable for our family and just what we needed!
Our stay was enjoyable. Very clean, nice to have coffee, kitchen, large bathroom and nice deck. Hard to get up front steps without a hand rail.rail.railrailbathroodeck overlooking the bay and
We were there for an overnight stay. We couldn’t have been happier with the space. The view was outstanding. The bathroom was immaculate. Everything was top notch.
