I brought students to this house on a retreat for their organization. It was the perfect fit for our group. It slept 15 and we had 15, but we never felt crowded in the space. The outdoor area was perfect, as well. They used the fire pit, swam in the lake and played cornhole with the provided boards. The large amount of space also allowed for easy meetings with the entire group. We'll definitely want to consider using this house again next year, if the dates align.

Lake stay while visiting for fam reunion

Great sleeping spaces and plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The kayaks were awesome. Coordination w property was easy and with quick resolution. Would stay again.

Wonderful Women's Weekend

We had a lovely stay at Relax on Riverbend for a Solitude Retreat (8 women). There was plenty of space to spread out and take rest individually and collectively.

We had a wonderful stay at this lakeside property! The biggest highlight for us was the size of the home and how comfortably it accommodated our large family. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, relax, and enjoy time together without ever feeling crowded.The property was spacious, comfortable, and really well suited for families. Having enough room for everyone made such a difference and allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation. The lakeside setting was an added bonus and made the whole experience feel peaceful and relaxing. We spent each day on the boat or floating and fishing around the large dock. Nighttime fires at the firepit were a great gathering place for the family to enjoy time together. I can't forget to mention the number of deer we saw each day! What a treat that was.We would definitely recommend this property to other large families looking for a comfortable place to stay. We had a great time and would happily come back!

This place is a gem. The pictures that are on the site depict exactly what you see in real life. If location was a thing, this place is definitely a diamond. Access to the water is right in your backyard. Access to any amenities is a very short drive. And the neighborhood is very nice. Rooms have ample space, so you can move around in the public areas with no problem.And bedrooms are also spacious. I would recommend this location five star two any one looking for an opportunity to get away and relax.

The house had so many thoughtful touches. The back yard and back deck were perfect for hanging out. The hosts were very helpful leading up to the stay. If I emailed, I always got a quick response.

Great Choice!

The communication before and during this stay was outstanding! The house was beautiful and exactly as described. Great amenities, the s’mores setup and the bottle of wine were a nice touch even though we did not indulge.

Relaxing

The open floor plan was perfect for our large family. Everyone could gather around and not feel crowded. The dinning table was the perfect size to share meals, conversations and/or play games. Great semi-secluded location to make lasting memories.

Amazing home with everything you need. The owners provided a wonderful welcome package and all the basics from soap and shampoo to towels and kitchen needs. We never needed to run out to buy something except food - of course.

Beautiful

House was clean, well stocked and roomy. There were plenty of spaces to relax and getaway from the commotion, and then large areas for the entire family to come together. The large back porch had a beautiful view of the lake, and the sloping lawn down to the water and dock lended ample room for dogs to play. I would highly recommend this property!

Excellent property for family reunions

We rented Relax on Riverbend a family reunions over the Thanksgiving holidays. The house comfortably accommodated our large group (12 adults, 1 toddler). The kitchen was very well equipped to serve a large group. The management company was very responsive to all my questions. We are already talking about a return visit to Relax on Riverbend.

Fantastic Family "Base" for the Wedding weekend!

We were in town for my son's wedding. The out of town family stayed together there. We had such a wonderful time and the setting was beautiful! Beds were comfy and lovely bathrooms! I absolutely loved that big gas stove in the kitchen which was a cooks dream. The views were wonderful too! If you want a great place to relax just choose this home. I was so pleased! setting was veautiful!!

Beautiful and Spacious

This property is very spacious and inviting. With 7 bedrooms, beautiful and comfortable living spaces and an accommodating kitchen, you can’t go wrong with this home. The extras the home offers is great for a larger family like a game room, beautiful fire pit, spacious deck seating, kayak access, digital board checkin and checkout, and a nice waterfront location. We enjoyed time with family inside and outside and would highly recommend.

Fantastic House for large family gathering

This house was very spacious indoors and the back lawn. We had 15 family members join us for a Davidson Graduation ceremony and there was plenty of space. We were also able to use the kayaks, play corn hole (already at the house), and grill out for a picnic. The fire pit was really fun at night! A great time was had by all! I do wish there were more bathrooms with the amount of people we had, but we made it work. I would highly reccomend this house for a large goup of people.

Granddaughter's Wedding

We are a family of 14 that came together to celebrate our granddaughter's wedding in Statesville. We needed a large place, and this home filled the bill. It is very spacious and well laid out. The view from the deck is beautiful and the location is so serene and quiet. It is absolutely as described, and then some! I honestly can't say enough positive things about this home. The management company {Drew} was so responsive to any questions we had. It is stocked better than any rental we have had, and we are long term VRBO customers. You won't be disappointed!
