Fun amenities!

We mainly chose this as a homebase for a trip w friends who live near Torch and Elk. It was nice and dark for good sleep. We ended up carving time to enjoy some of the amenities on the property - disc golf, tennis, and pools.

Labor Day Weekend get away

This property is newly renovated and extremely clean. I loved there was ice in the freezer on arrival. Everything we needed was supplied, even made a crockpot meal after a long day on Torch Lake.

Schuss Mountain Rental

This is a great place to stay and play. We started out our vacation in Shanty Creek Crosswinds and ended the weekend in Schuss. The owner is great she had prompt responses to concerns regarding the unit. The unit itself recently updated very clean. Appliances are in best condition I've seen at any condo rental we have been vacationing in Shanty for years. The pool is indoor but the doors open to the outside. The lodge is very tired in need of updating.

Can't beat the location at Schuss

The unit is freshly redone. Radiant floor heating, brand new kitchen, tile floors, furniture, etc. It had only been rented a few times and the owner has yet to put up coat and ski racks. We talked to him and those are coming soon. The only issue we had was a lack of hot water on 2 of the nights of our stay, but the final night was OK. We talked to the owner about it- I suspect there are still some kinks being worked out but I wouldn't let that scare you away. The location can not be beat! Would definitely stay here again.

I thank this guest for his review. These are new construction and we did just start renting a month ago. EVERYTHING is brand new. Since his stay we have installed anther hot water tank so lack of hot water should not be an issue. Ski rack and hooks are hung. I know you will not be dissapointed with your choice in this condo.

The condo was perfect for our weekend away for a family wedding in the area. It is clean and very nicely remodeled. The resort around the condo could use some love though.

This guest left a 3 star because she demanded money back because she had the heat and AC on at the same time and said AC didn't work. We went over to the condo to assist and I was under the assumption all was OK because I didn't hear anymore from her until after she checked out she continued to to say AC didn't work. She wanted $100 back. We have a guest book with instructions and a note that says call or text anytime for assistance.
