The Retro Retreat is not just a rental property, it is a luxury vacation experience! This MCM/60s-70s condo blends the old with the new to offer guests fabulous, fun, and functional getaway. After renovating a dozen properties in the Dewey Beach area that were built in the 60s, we decided to go all-in with this property and create an authentic historical experience, while still offering all-new, modern amenities. The vaulted ceilings throughout, skylights and expansive view of Silver Lake and create an open, light and bright environment.., and the sound of the fountain bubbling on the lake awakes your senses. Fully renovated in 2023, all construction, fixed structures, beds and bedding in the home are brand new. At the same time, furnishings, décor items and kitsch accents are genuine to the 60s and 70s. Adults and kids alike will enjoy exploring the memorabilia, such as the record player, rotary phone, typewriter, books, games and toys. The period décor is lively, and will awaken memories and enlighten your creative senses. Our goal to create a groovy vacation experience seems to have worked, and the early reviews are glowing. Wonderful

We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer . The condo is beautiful and very clean . Very comfortable for 6 people . Lyn is very helpful and very quick to answer any questions.

Clean and Beautiful, Great Stay!

The home is just as pictured. The overall theme is super cute and great for taking pics and making memories. The home was super clean and immaculately kept. Quaint and quiet neighborhood. Quick 5 min drive to the beach, outlets, restaurants and stores. The beach parking pass was super helpful. We enjoyed our overall stay and can’t wait to make this an annual trip!

Totally Retro-Marvelous

We enjoyed our week at the Retro Retreat. The hosts Lyn and Brett created a beautiful condo that will truly take you back in time with some modern twists. They also went above and beyond to share their favorites regarding restaurants, things to do as well as the best beach spots. Good location - a quick walk or drive to lots of places to enjoy.

Weekend family visitors

Light filled beautifully appointed 60’s/70’s retro decor. 3 adults having grown up in this era - fully appreciated all the details of design/furniture and fun artifacts. Plenty of room for all to spread out and come together in the spacious family/living room. Appreciated the parking pass - and the beach was so close. The accommodations were perfect for our get together.
