Unbelievably terrible

False advertisement for sure. The place is nothing like advertised. Nasty, stinky, no Wi-Fi, no TVs, 2 towels, 2 wash clothes, terrible customer service. We come every year as a family and this was the worst yet.

Jacuzzi didn’t work neither did any of the tvs. Tub was slow at draining in one the bathrooms. There’s no foosball table and the descriptions of how many bedrooms and bathrooms were incorrect.

As soon as we arrived, we saw that the cable wasn't working and the hot tub was cold. We emailed back and forth with the property manager and nothing was ever resolved. As an owner of a rental property, I know what to expect, and this house had so many issues, I was so disappointed. There is a walkway behind the house that takes you to the game room. There was no outdoor lighting and the path was littered with debris that could have been easily swept by the cleaning company. Also, great to have a foosball table, but there were no balls. There was dried urine all over the table in the master bath and the shower was moldy. The towels were terrible quality- you cold get better towels at an Econolodge. The lightbulbs were out in the master bedroom and there were only 4 hangers in the entire house. Also, the house is supposed to sleep 14 and there wasn't any extra sheets, blankets or pillows to accommodate that number, and the only bed that had a top sheet was the master bed. One of the blankets smelled like vomit and most of the beds felt like sleeping on a wooden plank. Truly the most uncomfortable beds. We were told that the house would be inspected after every stay, but I find that hard to believe as there were multiple electrical plugs that were loose and would spark when trying to plug something in. Lastly, they advertise wifi, it was terrible. I'm thankful that I didn't have to get any work done. This stay has made me question ever staying at a vrbo again.

No Rest at the Creekside Rest

This property is still a few stages from being prepared for guest, the property managers never sent me an email of check in or for that matter check out procedures. The only way I got the address was thanks to VRBO. I had to contact the property managers on more than a dozen occasions starting from, I simply needed the code to get into the door of the house. Upon checking in WATCH YOUR STEP, as the house has a 6 inch step down that isn't marked and a person in my party fell and almost busted their head on the fireplace. The entire house felt musty, we finally figured out why when water starting coming out of the ceiling fan, 4 hours later after another phone call maintenance came out to identify the issue was the AC drain pan was full and putting water in the ceiling, the ceiling was very soft and we could not use the ceiling fan any more. The TV's never worked and being opening season of football I was looking forward to after walking around Dollywood coming back to the house and enjoying some football, the property mangers were contacted about that with no solution. Since we didn't get any check in information we also had to call to get the WIFI password and due to the house not having cell signal we had to drive down the mountain to find this and eventually to the main office in Gatlinburg. We filled out an incident report and was informed of everything we should have received. Horrible experience wouldn't recommend.

Vacations

Safe place, beautiful view between the mountains, inside the house some little things need maintenance and better cleaning, special the beds linens and the floors. But is a beautiful and comfortable place.
