About this property

Welcome to our cabin, Happy Bear Hillside! The cabin has a covered front porch and screened back porch to enjoy the beautiful forest surrounding the cabin.

The cabin has a total of four bedrooms (3 King bedrooms and 1 bedroom with 2 full beds). There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The cabin can sleep 12 guests. There are also 2 bathrooms with showers in them.

Game Room: Arcade games with 150+ games including Aladdin, Lion King, Marvel, Sports, Etc. Poker and bumper pool table. High speed Wi-Fi and satellite TV package ensures you stay connected during your stay in the mountains. Just 5 miles from the Island/Parkway in Pigeon Forge and 10 miles to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park!

The hot tub is always clean, hot and inviting. For a perfect evening, relax in the living room by the stone fire place while the gas logs make the room warm and toasty.

There is a charcoal grill for you to use. Just bring your charcoal. There is also a fire pit with very comfortable adirondack chairs.

The kitchen is stocked with cookware, plates, bowls, glasses, coffee cups, eating utensils and several small appliances including a drip coffee maker. (BYO Coffee)

The Cabin (Happy Bear Hillside)
A private cabin just a few minutes from downtown with hot tub, bumper pool, and beautiful forest surroundings. Only 3 miles to Goats on the Roof mountain roller coaster! The cabin is a smaller cozy cabin with rough hewn logs that are gorgeous. The roads and driveway are easy to navigate.

The day before your arrival we will message you with check-in details including cabin door code. No need to meet anyone for keys!

As is customary in the Smoky's, the fireplace is shut down April 1 to October 1.

Cabin Safety: Fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, nighttime lighting on main entry door.

The hot tub is drained and cleaned after every guest.

Provided: Linens, towels, washer/dryer, dishwasher soap, portable crib, baby gate, high chair, hair dryer, silverware, cups/plates, cooking utensils, and coffee pot (BYO coffee), can opener, toaster, etc.

Not Provided: Soaps, shampoos, toiletries, condiments, zip locks, and charcoal.

Pets: We promise all of our guests a pet free cabin and we strive to live up to our word. As a result, no pets are allowed.

Fair Accommodations

Cute little cottage tucked on a bluff. Owner was easy to communicate with. Amenities were fair but not great. Little things like a full bottle of dishwashing soap, Kleenex, doors that easily shut or didn’t scrape the floor and refreshed comforters (some weren’t the cleanest or had been visibly repaired), would make this a better experience for guests. The front porch was inviting and the rocking chairs were a great way to relax and unwind. A few small upgrades and this would be a gem.
