Spend your afternoon lounging in the pool or enjoying time on the large terrace surrounded by 360 degree views of nature.
Large windows throughout the home provide spectacular views!

The space:
Main home has a living room, kitchen, 2 Bedrooms with full bathrooms, TV and AC in each room.

If you want to make your own meals, the kitchen is fully equipped including stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, utensils, pots, pans and dishes.

Half bathroom on main floor.

Large outdoor terrace.

Guest house has a full bathroom, TV, mini fridge, AC, Queen sized bed , as well as a twin mattress that can be used to sleep an additional guest.

Outdoor kitchen area with BBQ

Pool and Jacuzzi. (Note: Costa Rican jacuzzis are not heated)

Private and secure parking behind electronic gate.

Perfect communication before our arrival, including directions, an attachment with all things to do around, and even an address to show the border control officer at the airport. The house was great: nestled in lush jungle greens, a fantastic pool, a stocked kitchen, and more.Perfect location, close to beaches, close to the center of town, but very private and quiet.

This home was absolutely fantastic. It all started with the attentive host who made sure everything was ready for us. She made us feel instantly at home and excited for our stay. The positive experience continued with the comfort of the home and gorgeous design. The location, the privacy, and all the amenities made it hard to leave. Highly recommend!

Mae Casa was the perfect spot for our family vacation! It was well equipped, clean and in an excellent location. It's a good walk to town (about 30 minutes) but only 5 minutes by golf cart. We definitely recommend renting the golf carts - such a fun and easy way to get around! Leonie was so helpful and responsive. The guide book provided upon booking was full of useful information about the area. We were there over the Christmas holidays so it was busy in town and we were happy to have a quiet place to relax. Pool was lovely, we used the bbq many times, and having the extra room in the pool house worked well for our family. Highly recommend staying at Mae Casa!

The entire house (and the casita) were immaculate. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. The pool was amazing and clean. Under a canopy of trees, there's no need for sunblock!If I ever make it back to CR, I would absolutely stay here!

Beautiful home and great location

We enjoyed 3 nights at the beautiful Mae Casa. The place was clean, very beautiful furnished and close to town. Leoni was a great host. We definitely recommended.

Paradise

The property is perfect-- close enough to town but feels like your in the middle of the jungle. It's perfect, the host was fantastic at communication, close to three great beaches, and the twown of Samara is fantastic. Highly recommend this place!

Great Service

Leonie was a wonderful host and the house was all that we expected. Leonie met us when we arrived to walk us through the house and left us some nice snacks and coffee. She was a wealth of information about restaurants and area attractions. We would highly recommend Mae Casa.

A magical place!

This modern and stunning property is tucked away in a private area of Samara, a short drive or bike ride from the main street and just minutes from the most beautiful beach in our stay stay! Spacious rooms, a great pool for laps and lounging and lovely lighting. Perfect for an intimate private getaway or family trip! Will certainly be back!

Beautiful home - perfect for a family

Casa Mae is much more impressive in person than the pictures show. The home is very well maintained and appears almost new. It is well equipped for cooking at home and hosting pretty much everything an average sized family would need!The pool is wonderful (albeit a bit chillier than our liking - but that's what the beach is for!).Wifi... A/C...etc... all is great.The property location is secluded and great for a get away but the access road is pretty rough and can get annoying rumbling up and down.I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property to others.,

Jungle Paradise Near Beach

My family of 5 (children ages 4, 6, 8) stayed at the property for a week in May. The property is as described and more. It is tucked into the side of a hill surrounded by jungle, but just a few minutes from the beach town of Samara. Monkeys were common in the surrounding trees and plenty of other wildlife as well. Our family's favorite part of the property was the pool. Couldn't of been happier with the trip and the choice to stay at the property!

Special house in a fun location

Highly recommended! We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious home: tasteful modern design, comfortable and private surroundings, and fully equipped with all you need. Our favorite moments were waking up in the master bedroom surrounded by a jungle-like forest to watch the monkeys in the trees; swimming in the shady pool in the late afternoon; and recovering from a trip to the beach in our own private compound. Our teenager especially loved having the separate pool bungalow. Samara is a fun and funky beach town that is a short ride away (a car is recommended but you can get by if you don’t mind some healthy walking). The restaurants on the beach are a highlight. Special mention of Playa Carrillo, about a 15 minute car ride away, which is gorgeous and uncrowded. Great for swimming with the kids and feeling like you are (almost) alone in paradise.

Stunning home, unforgettable experience

Wow, this home is stunning. The master bedroom suite upstairs is huge and has a wrap around view of green jungle. You wake up and there is the greenery of the most amazing trees all around you, while you are cozy in your posh king sized bed. The master walks out to a huge deck to drink your morning coffee and look for monkeys in the trees. The neighbourhood is great. You can walk 15 minutes to unbelievable beaches. We even found the path to the secret beach. It was so gorgeous I actually cried. Our 6 year old child went to school at Mereas Academy which was just a 10 minute walk to school. They take kids for even just one day (highly recommended, he made friends, played sports and even learned curriculum). We loved having dinner while watching sunset right on Sámara beach at Gusto or La Dolce Vita. The house is brand new and well stocked with plush towels and comfy beds and upscale touches. The separate casita is great, you can have a separate couple in there where they have their own private space. The pool is awesome after a hot day. The owner and property manager were both incredibly nice and attentive. I really did not want to leave, ever. Highly highly recommended!
