You will have the entire carriage house which is an approximately 320 ft² standalone brick building at the back of the property. This space, built in 1905, was originally a spot for the owner to keep the carriage and horse. Converted into an apartment in the 1930s and fully renovated in 2020.
Completely remodeled with good insulation, a high-end Hitachi heat pump/AC unit. In-unit washer and dryer, on-demand instant hot water heater. New kitchen with stainless steel appliances. It has a gorgeous corner shower and very usable bathroom space.
We have streaming television only so you can log into any streaming apps or use Netflix on the TV. There’s a cool outside patio area with bistro lights and outdoor seating.
Easy access to all downtown had to offer. Just a couple blocks from The Depot and The Union concert venue.
Walk to the Delta Center for Jazz Games, Mammoth Hockey, Concerts, and events. Walking distance to Salt Palace Convention Center.
Only a .2 mile walk to the North Temple Bridge Trax Stop. No car is needed here. Take the Trax from the airport to the North Temple Stop and only .2 mile walk to your door! The North Temple Bridge hub gives you access to all of Salt Lake`s public transportation options.!!!!!!!!!!!
You do not share this space with anybody. This is a detached building at the back of the property that used to house horses and carriages. It’s been completely remodeled, fully updated, and is gorgeous. It’s a small space but perfect for two people, a pull-out sofa sleeper gives the option to bring in a 3rd guest.
You will be able to come and go as you please and will be provided with a unique door code for the Yale smart lock.
Please be aware that you are not allowed to pull your vehicle on the shared driveway at all. We do not have any off-street parking in the back of the building. You can park for free at 600 W. or 200 North and do not need a parking permit. Easy free parking all around the building. Check out reviews!

We are only two blocks from the North Temple Bridge trax stop with direct access to Salt Lake City International Airport. Many guests use our space for a same-day booking as a basecamp to relax and explore the city during a long layover or late departure. Message us for same-day bookings! We can usually get you into the space immediately!
This is a self-check-in property. The owner is usually not on the premises, but has an active management role, and lives a few miles from the property. Please refer to your check-in instructions and automated messages for answers to your questions, we have tried to make this process as easy and automated as possible to keep our rates down and accommodations affordable. I am usually available to personally respond to your questions or concerns but have contracted with a professional property management company who are on standby from 8 am to midnight 7 days a week to make sure you have support if issues arise. This area is known as the Hardware District, it is right off north temple and East of the I-15 freeway.
This amazing area giving you easy access to all downtown Salt Lake City has to offer. No vehicle/rental car/Uber needed! Take the trax line from the airport to the Guadalupe/ North Temple Bridge stop, its only a short .2 mile walk from this stop right to your door. You don’t need a vehicle if you are flying in and taking the public light rail (Trax).
You can also walk across the North Temple Bridge and into the gateway mall in minutes. Easy access to bars, breweries, restaurants, concert venues all by foot!
Lots of our guests come with no vehicle. Great downtown location. Uber, Lift, rentable electric scooters and bikes abundant downtown.
Its a short .2 mile walk to light rail (trax line) giving easy access to all of downtown, salt palace convention center, University of Utah, airport etc.
Short walk to front runner train to access Provo and Ogden.
Walk less then 1 mile to the Vivant arena to catch a Jazz game or concert.

We do not have off-street dedicated parking for this unit, but there is plenty of free street parking all around the building. This is an easy pace to stay downtown with or without a vehicle, check our reviews!
Utah has a high desert climate and as such there are house ants, occasional harmless spiders, or Box Elder bugs that are usually seen more during seasonal changes such as going from winter to spring or vice versa. As responsible hosts, we have a pest control contract with Uintah Pest Control to service all our properties. Sightings are rare but are possible. An occasional sighting is not considered a reflection of the cleanliness of the property. Pet Policy: We aim to make staying with your pet easy and affordable. We charge a $25 per night pet fee for up to 2 pets. This fee helps us manage the costs of being pet-friendly while keeping rates low for our pet-free travelers.
Important Details:
• No Impact Policy: Ensure your pet does not shed excessively or cause damage. We provide a Shark stick vacuum and a lint roller to help keep off pet hair for pets that shed. Pets must stay off furniture and bedding. All pet hair must be removed before checkout. Since our pet fee is so low it does not include pet hair removal from bedding or furniture.
• Crating & Supervision: Crate your pet if left alone in the unit and ensure they do not disturb other guests.
• Leash & Cleanup: Keep pets leashed when entering/exiting and clean up after them.
• Liability: You are responsible for any damage or injury caused by your pet.

• Late Check-Out: Unauthorized late check-outs incur a $50 fee. You agree to cover any financial loss from an extended stay without permission.

Perfect for the concert, we were able to walk to the Union in less than ten minutes. It was quiet and felt safe, and we lived the mural on the side of the building!
Had a great stay at this carriage house. So close to so many fun things, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. Was exactly what what we needed for a great price. Host was great about communicating with us, and very professional. Overall just a great experience, we will be staying here again!
Property inside is small but adequate. Our only complaint was that the pullout couch was not comfortable for an adult but probably ok for a child. Great walking distance to Trax and safe and quiet.
Property was clean, cozy, easily accessed. The WiFi was intermittent at best. The only TV available was Samsung internet TV. Because of the poor internet, viewing the TV was spotty and frustrating. Texted Justin, he said hed check with the ISP provider. It didnt get better.

We had to discuss an undisclosed pet that was brought into the carriage house, which seems to have impacted our review. We have Xfinity Internet with one gigabit service at the property. The Internet is excellent.
Overall, everything was clean and well maintained and we enjoyed our stay very much! My husband and I came to SLC to visit our son. The carriage house is beautiful inside and out but it's a bit cramped. Street parking was ok other than one night when there was some kind of event nearby. If there is more than 2 people in your group, this space may not work for you. This is a efficiency space and there is no separation from the living room/bedroom. The shower was a bit of an experience for anyone who's bigger than a size Medium. But, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen with a stove and oven was nice. And the in-unit washer and dryer was a huge bonus.
