A stunning stone cottage for two, recreated from the designs of the sugar mills from the past is situated just 20 feet from
the water's edge. If your plans include playing on the lawn, relaxing by the pool, swimming or snorkeling in the sparkling turquoise waters directly off of our property -it is all right here in your backyard. Other properties boast about a short drive or walk to the beach, at Caribbean Castaway there is no need to drive or walk to enjoy beautiful sand and direct access into the water. If your plans include visiting the famous beaches of St Thomas Lindquist Beach (the new Magens Bay) and Sapphire Beach both offer life guard supervision and are a two minute drive from the house.The town of Red Hook is just a five minute drive, where you will find delightful restaurants, live entertainment, groceries, shopping, boat rentals, marinas, dive expeditions etc. There you can also catch the ferry every hour to St. John and the British Virgin Islands.

Caribbean Castaway is a six bedroom, solar powered 'green' villa on a one acre water front piece of heaven. High vaulted natural Cypress ceilings, large glass windows and doors, comfortable interior furnishings create the perfect island atmosphere. Art work by local Caribbean artists include Guy Harvey, Elaine Estern and Jonna White are featured throughout the villa. The Mahogany front door, hand built and carved by a local artist is one of the architectural focal points of the house . The gourmet kitchen features Bosch appliances, granite counters, two refrigerators, stand alone ice maker and is fully equipped to cook a gourmet meal for 12 or simply reheat leftovers. For your entertainment, satellite tv and a separate media room with a 55' flat screen television and surround sound, complement the main living area. High speed totally secure Wi-Fi is provided for continued access while away. Additionally, there are hard wire Lan connections in the Bedrooms and Office for even more security.
The air conditioned main house features five bedrooms, four with king size beds and one with two twins (which can be converted into king bed ) The cottage, the sixth bedroom, is equipped with air conditioning , a king size bed and a beautiful stone shower. All the bedrooms and cottage feature individual climate control, luxury linens, plush bath towels, flat screen tv's and DVR's.

In St. Thomas the outside living space is just as important as the inside. Caribbean Castaway is equipped with a large gas grill, outdoor stone pool bar, pool bathroom, expansive covered porch/terrace and a pool deck featuring coral tile imported from the Dominican Republic. The infinity edge pool features a glass mural of a coral reef and turtles swimming on the bottom. A generous size soaking ledge allows you to comfortably lounge with your chair in the water. For additional enjoyment away from the house there is open space on the lawn for you and your guests.
