Decided after years of staying in hotels when visiting our children in KC, decided to rent a home for more gathering space. The house was a perfect fit and allowed for family gatherings and having an equippe kitchen allowed for cooking together. It was a terrific experience and created many wonderful memories.
Was in town for a full week working and seeing friends/family. The house is in great shape. Excellent kitchen with plenty of fridge space. Very nice bathroom with double vanity. The beds were actually comfortable. Backyard was a bit muddy for the dogs, but it was just a rainy week. We would definitely come back.
This property was perfect for my family during a weekend stay for a Chiefs game. The neighborhood was nice and close enough but not too close to the stadium. Added bonus was the games room in the basement. The kids really enjoyed that feature.
We stayed in Kristina's property during a gap period after moving but before closing on our new home. This was just what we needed - cute, clean, fully furnished and centrally located. We enjoyed everything about our stay!
The house was perfect for our stay! It was well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed the games downstairs. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. There was a storm the last night we were there and the house lost electricity. Kristina was apologetic even though it was COMPLETELY out of her control and she even offered us extra time if we needed it for checkout. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a great two week stay. The house is cute, clean and in a great location. The owners are very responsive. A grocery store, bakery, and other shops are an easy1/2 mile walk away. Getting downtown only takes 15 minutes. Roe is a somewhat busy street but pulling out of the drive isn’t that challenging. We will stay here again.
This house delivered everything it promised. Location, especially access to parks, was great. All the amenities inside were beyond expectations. Bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen all surpassed expectations.
Loved the sunroom area. Deck was nice. Back yard needs attention but sure that will soon rival the inside.
Thanks for having us.
Would definitely stay again.
Terrific house with for the three of us. Well equipped. Easy central location. Very clean and perfect flow. Tvs in every room and room for our dog in back. Beds were sooo comfortable. Would definitely book here again.
We chose this house for its location and the 10/10 rating from previous guests. I’ve stayed in a lot of Vrbos, so have very high expectations for a house with a 10 rating. This house is solid, but it’s not a 10. The furniture is very cheap (plastic dining chairs), the front door handle easily falls off, the yard is untended, and there are numerous minor issues throughout. It gives the impression of a place used as an investment, which I get, but many other places are better kept up.
We really enjoyed this property! My daughter and I were just getting away for the weekend to somewhere we had never explored and ended up choosing KC. This property was perfect for both of us and a quick drive to all we wanted to see... Downtown museums (18th & Vine,) T-Mobile Center for a concert, Power & Light District, Arrowhead and Kauffman stadiums! We also found lots of great food and a wonderful distillery within short drives.
The house is in a very nice neighborhood and though it is on a central street, I would not at all consider that a negative. There is a spacious backyard for kids as well as a basement with games. We would definitely visit this property again if ever we find ourselves back in KC!

Good but not great
The location map in VRBO is a wrong by about 0.5 miles, this is not on a side street near PV but is instead on the busy street nearby; that was a real bummer. The inside of the house was very clean but the outside needs some TLC, looks run down when you drive up. The bedrooms are a nice size and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and the dining table was a great working space. There is no handrail on the front steps so it wasn't great for older folks.
We had a wonderful short stay at this house and in the surrounding neighborhood. It felt safe and was conveniently close to downtown. However, there were a few improvements that could elevate this to a 5-star experience. Firstly, the front porch and back deck were covered in leaves, which blew into the house whenever we came and went. Secondly, the back door was jammed, making it difficult to open. Thankfully, there was a side gate that allowed us access to the deck and backyard for our dog. Lastly, we noticed a few minor inconveniences: there was no grill brush for cleaning the grill, no wax for the shuffleboard table, and the coffee maker was dirty and missing a part needed for brewing a full pot. While we could use the K-cups, there weren’t enough provided for the entire weekend. These are small issues, and I hope the owner addresses them to ensure a perfect stay for future guests.
My husband and I stayed here for a few days with our dog. The home is so cute and totally redone on the inside. The yard is fully fenced and we felt safe letting our dog out to play and sniff around. The beds are comfortable. The temperature is easy to control and the water pressure is good. The home is a quick drive to downtown, the Plaza and Westport. It’s on a main road but the neighborhood is very quiet. It’s right by a park which we walked to daily. Prairie Village is a town out of a movie; the tree lined streets, small town safe feeling and quiet makes you want to move there. It’s close to everything you’d need including groceries, Starbucks and shopping. Check in and out was easy and uncomplicated. The host is easy to get in touch with and helpful. We would 100% stay again. Thanks!
My family stayed at this property over Thanksgiving and the house was perfect. Location is close to Prairie Village and the Plaza. The host responded promptly. I definitely recommend this property.
The house was nicely decorated and equipped with what we needed. I appreciated that coffee was provided. Staying here went so smoothly, we never needed to contact the owner.
